Why did you use a disc brake

Why did you use a disc brake in the rear? It seems like it would be good to use a rim brake in the rear. You don't need much braking strength in the back and this type of braking system allows for a lighter wheel, lighter braking components, and better aerodynamics (I think).

So you fitted a 135mm OLD drive hub?

I put a disc on the back because I put a disc on the front. I put a disc on the front because I had concern with my right leg scraping a caliper brake. I don't like paying aerodynamic penalties but if I get really serious about this I'll loose 10lbs.

The Hub says Shimano HB M525A.
I had no fitment issues because my LBS mechanic put it on. (I do have financial issues though but that's another post)
