Vendetta Sterring Damper FITTED

Fitted a Hebie Elastomer Steering Damper on my Cruzbike Vendetta 2.0 yesterday and took for 30Km test ride. Absolutely brilliant. Stops the low and high speed twitchiness but doesn't change big cornering moves when you require more force.

It also stops the front end flopping about when at rest and while picking up, maintaining etc.

I've got it set up with a fair amount of tension dialled in so the front wheel stays centred on its own.

recommend to all cruzbikers.

It's a keeper!

Agreement with improved handling

I am interested to read about your experiences with the steering stabilizer fitted. I recently tried using bungees on my Quest to give a similar effect (see "Experiment with self-centred steering" post). The result was a definite improvement in handling.

I consider this is an important result and also now think that some self-centring should be incorporated into the design of the cruzbike.
