Good luck. I didn't find a Q45 in whole of Europe 6 months ago, but the V is a faster and probably more appealing bike, so if not in the midlands, there will surely be someone in the UK willing to meet with you for a ride.
Also, if you haven't driven a single wheel or MBB before, I suggest you shedule a whole day for just the riding, but even that is not enough to paint the whole MBB picture, you need to get used to it.

I'm sure there will be V20, there are several owners and several Silvio owners (precursor to the S40 and halfway between sitting position of S40 and V20)
Oh, but so worth it. Once you are used to it it is joyous. Smiles for miles and miles!
