Diamond coated chain? I've seen that when I was ordering chains and thought that it would eat my cassette and chainrings. What is the advantage of diamond coated chain
For what it’s worth years later, I’ve been using the same two diamond coated chains, the same chainrings, and the same cog-set for six years now. I alternate and cook the chains in paraffin wax every few hundred miles. I have no measurable chain stretch, and no damage to my chainrings or cogs. I do ride quite a bit though. I’m currently riding two centuries per week outside until winter.
