Do any of you know when this started shipping with S40s (or how I can tell if mine has one)? It looks like the "magic" is all out of sight.
Has anyone upgraded to it? Is there a noticeable difference?

I have a Q45 with Viscoset and S40 without. I can't tell the difference.

I checked - mine (2022 S40) says Vicoset on it. Darn - was hoping to be able to buy a bit more descending stability.

Those are tunable. See the section called Tuneable in the link below. There is also a link to a PDF farther down in that website that describes it further (diagrams and so forth).

Not sure what the "default" configuration is that they're shipped with. I got a chance to ride one at Cycle-Con and could tell a noticeable difference.
