ViscoSet Question...

Is the ViscoSet headset that comes on standard on the new S40 set to maximum dampening?
The website illustrates that the maximum dampening is achieved when the inner and outer
dampening plates are alternated.
So... is that the setting on the S40 out of the box?
Or... can dampening be increased over the factory setting?
Maybe Robert has already answered this on this forum, but I couldn't find it.

Hi,
The ViscoSet headset is set to center mute by default. I adjusted it myself to maximum damping. That's easy to do.

Thanks Rene'... I did find a comment by Robert after all. He said that he preferred to have the bikes set up with the medium setting
as he found the max setting to be too limiting for in-town riding with lots of turns.

It comes with the medium as default.
