Ok I have a question?
Has anyone built the s 40 with
Campy carbon
I have an old road bike and I am looking at swapping the 700 mavic open pro wheels and group set to a new bike (S 40 ) I do know I will need a new bottom bracket and some new cables for some of the build.
Does the S 40 have holes to use rim breaks
Thanks

I phones really suck when you post from them , words change , spell check , can’t see everything on the screen had to edit this morning. Posted from work yesterday

Yes, the S40 has holes for rim brakes. Full disclosure: I've never used rim brakes on my S40 but it *looks* like normal reach (Campy) rim brakes would work with 700c wheels. It's possible (as I said, I've never used them) that you might need medium or long reach brakes to make it work.

Worth a try though since you've already got the groupset and wheels.

I just tried some old Campag Potenza brakes in the holes on my S40. They are way too short reach. I imagine you'd need long reach callipers but I don't have any to offer up and see.
