I was the guy that sat at the back of the classroom all the way in the corner playing video games on his hand held while listening to the lecture. The teachers would grade tests on a curve and to keep certain kids from failing the curve would be offset so my perfect scores on the test would net me extra credit so I’d have to do less homework to still maintain a 4.0 GPA. My motto was to do the bare minimum to get the A and honestly it gave me a very bad impression of the public school system for it’s extremely lax standards. I love knowledge and I love learning but I hate school and it’s flawed structuring.
In other news I finally have a more permanent housing situation as of tomorrow so hopefully I can get the vendetta down here with me and set up on the trainer. Then I’ll start seriously considering joining you guys and your TT efforts
Ken,There has been talk about this CB Volcano Flats TT circuit. I have not had a problem with our original 2 laps-watopia. I would like to make sure we're being graded on what we think we are graded on. Are we switching to the CB segment?
The problem I had with 2Laps-Watopia is that sometimes Zwift starts the segment on the second lap (that was the case for Weeks 0 and 1), but other times Zwift starts it on the first lap (Week 2). I was using the first lap as a warmup, so my Week 2 time for that segment was 10 minutes slower. I contacted Zwift support about this, but could never get them to grok the problem, so I gave up on them. But it seems that it isn't possible for them to record multiple instances of a segment if the segments overlap, which they do in this case because the segment is two loops. So I just used Cruzbike Volcano Flats 2X TT for Week 3. I did a warm-up lap, ended the warm-up ride, then re-started Zwift for the TT ride. Cruzbike Volcano Flats 2X TT is the same distance as 2Laps-Watopia. It just starts and ends a little later, providing enough runway to get the same flying start. Last week I stopped pedaling immediately after the arch and didn't see any drop in the recorded power for the TT segment. We should use the original segment that we rode in week0 & week1.
Glad you're in Robert!Sweet! For a guy like me who tends to lazily ride along enjoying the trees (except for the downhills of course) this has been a good kick in the pants to put forth some effort and actually ride for some fitness haha!

I am sorry this is so ugly - It look great when I am formatting it, but when I save it, it zaps all the spacing out. I am sure there is a solution, but I am tired of mucking with it.
You can trim your strava ride to start a bit after the segment start so strava won't pick it up on the first warm up lap and it'll start as you pass through the second time.
Rojo - I can do a screen capture, but the forum app will not let me upload it. Not sure why it is not allowing me not to. I actually thought no-one could do it, but now that we see you can do it, I will look into it a little deeper.Simple screen capture should be good enough for forum use.
