Make mine a medium. . .

I am also in the cue for a V2.
In the meantime I am learning the cruzbike way on a loaner (Quest).
I've put about three hours into it, mind you, on rollers.
Getting comfortable will take some time. Time invested on a smooth transition to the Vendetta.

Any updates?

I have a Vendetta but I know others want one.

Here where I live we still have winter with snow on the ground yesterday we had + 6 C so most of the roads are clear because this week was very mild.

Next week we will have sunny weather but temperature -2 to -5 not so good riding weather for a Vendetta.

Spring is coming closer in the northern hemisphere and many of us will get good riding conditions soon.
Do you have some pictures you can show soon so we can see what the latest version of Vendetta looks like?

Ok, so we've seen the new pic

Ok, so we've seen the new pic on FB. Beautiful!

Questions about the new design:

1. Has anything changed around the BB and rear chainstay clamps to provide more clearance for a smaller BCD inner ring?

2. Regarding the steering geometry changes, it definitely looks like the headtube is more straight up and down now. How does this effect high speed handling (down a big hill)? That's the last area of handling that I still haven't fully mastered on my V. I start pulsing brakes around 30mph.:-\

2b. Is that a front tire shadow, or is the new hydroformed down tube really indented for the wheel to clear?

3. Looks like a carbon seat. Is the headrest mounted any differently? I really had to reinforce my aluminum seat/headrest interface not only with tube extensions that you graciously sent, but with an additional strip of 2" wide aluminum flat stock up the spine of the underside of my seat. (all because I'm a big tall guy at the max of headrest extension)

Anyways, I'd be leary of carbon's resiliency if the headrest mounting were the same.

Thanks!

Ps. Considering frameset purchase, thus the questions. :)

1. On change there. 2.

1. No change there.
2. Headtube tilted forward yes, not by much, but enough to improve handling at all speeds.
3. Headrest is mounted to the frame, not the seat.

I'll do a full reveal soon, when I see final samples of the HF tube.

Maria's RAAM bike

I'd like to see what you are doing for Maria's RAAM Vendetta too.

Some of those drawings in that other Facebook picture look pretty interesting.

I will comment that I've found rear suspensions combined with a low seat carrying something like a Bachetta Brain Box is a bit problematic.
