And it just gets bigger. How will this expansion affect our Thursday night TTT? We will know for sure tomorrow but indications are the Thursday TTT doesn't change one iota. It stays the same exactly how it is. What will happen is an opportunity opens up for the members of these TTT groups to expand further with a ladder step advancement progression. But only if they are interested in doing so. My thoughts are our little Cruzbike contingent will jump right in feet first. Some will simply stick with the Thursday's race and this works out fine while some of us will expand with the WTRL system while remaining in our Thursdays TTT.

My guess is the best case is we can provide three teams in the league. This would mean we will need a minimum of 2 more B racers, the four almost C's in High Drag need to advance into the C cat, and Low Drag is already rock-solid, by the 13th of Oct. We have time to make this happen. We will know a lot more after the official announcements on Friday.

@RojoRacing @Maria Parker Some of you may ask, "What about Jason and the women?" That is a good question since Jason is our fastest racer by far. Well. this is precisely the problem we don't have anyone to team him with in addition to the fact he already rides on other ATP races, not TTT. If the rules give him a place with us and he is willing we will jump for joy.

The women are another tough situation. There just doesn't seem to be enough recumbent women interested in supporting a regularly scheduled riding program. There are literally 100's of programs designed for women cyclists but recumbent women aren't taking advantage of these opportunities. I am starting to believe there are perhaps only 10 or so women in the entire world that are available to pull from. It is hard enough getting male support with its small pool of riders but the female pool is so small it's an impossible task. As it is our two recumbent women are linked on nicely with the DF women's groups and it works well for them. They are of course always welcome to join us as pop-in guests or full-fledged members.

Long story short we are very happy to support Jason and the females in any way we can.

More information can now be found at https://wtrl.racing/Zwift-Racing-League.php.

Henry has tried to drum up support for this within our cat D recumbent racers. We would not be able to field a team, so at least for this first series, we are looking to join ATP only for the Zwift Racing League. The recumbent teams (High Speed and Low Drag) will continue in the WTRL TTT on Thursdays.
