Your Opinion Of The Ventist Seat Pad

I have been able to get out and ride now the last two week ends and I have to say 15 miles is about my limit before my butt starts to hurt making it uncomfortable to ride any further. So a little bit of history here. In June of this year I started working with a fitness coach at Crossfit and as of this morning I have lost 30 lbs. This is really exciting for me but not so exciting for my derriere' as I have lost some of the cushion in the old ba-dunk-a-dunk!:rolleyes: I am looking at the ventist seat pad and due to it's design and material is says it will offer more cushioning versus the stock cushion that comes on the bike . So my question here is if you have a ventist what are your thoughts, opinions pros/cons of this replacement pad?
Thanks you y'all have been a great help!

6 months ago I made the switch from the stock seat/pad combo (S40) to the Thor Easy Seat and Ventisit standard pad. I find the Thor seat to be more supportive and more comfortable in terms of contours. Of course that will depend on each person's anatomy. I have a minor mid back bulging disc and the recesses in the Thor seat fit that just right. I also prefer the wider seat. It feels more stable all around.

As for the pad, I find the VS to be fine. It is a bit firmer than the stock CB pad but it is definitely a coarser surface. It will wear through kit faster, I imagine. And you certainly don't want any bare skin rubbing on the seat anywhere. If I had it to do again I might go with the 3cm, thicker VS pad but am happy with the standard pad.
