Squeaky V20c boom suggestions

Hi,
Installed a new boom on my V20c and now is squeaking. My plan is to apply grease to both ends of the boom and then torque to 4.5 Nm. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

My V20's always had a bit of creaking under strain, but when it started groaning on every bump, I decided to do something about it. First thing I noticed was a loose headset, which was why road shocks were being transmitted through the whole triangle. Then I put a light film of a Teflon oil on all the triangle's mating surfaces. Finally, a heavy grease packing of the boom pivot screw (washers correctly installed). Torqued the pivot screw to 10 Nm, and the bottom bracket clinching brackets to 2 Nm. Now no squeaks or creaks in all but the most strenuous hill climbs. Or maybe that's me. :)

This, put some grease on all the bolts that are on the boom and torque accordingly.

I cannot speak to the torque settings of a V20c but on my V20 the clamps at the bottom bracket are torqued to 2nm, the bolt which fixes the slider is to 5nm and the bolt at the headset area is torqued to 7nm.

Uhmm... About the 2 nm on the crank clamps at the BB housing on the V20. My V20 is approaching its 5-yr birthday, so allowing for wear, tear and fatigue, I would say that It definitely needs grease on the mating surface of each clamp to crank housing, but Instructions from the original video from Robert were to tighten clamps equally on either side so there is about a credit card of space between the clamp and the mount then tighten until snug. Once snug then 1/4 turn. That is all that it really needs. I gave the torque (2 nm) a shot after reading this and the resulting "Ping!" was the sound that indicated that I was needing a new clamp. These clamps are cast aluminum, and they don't need to be too tight to do their job correctly. 2nm isn't much, but in my case, it was more than one of the clamps could handle.

Here are a few things I did to chase away the v20c creaks.

Assembly paste in the handle bar clamp, in the slider, on the headrest clamp, and on the suspension rest and the bottle cage holder.

Wrapped the seat pan clamp in electrical tape.

Light grease under the pinch clamp. This finally addressed the last set of noises.
