This is what I have.I've been riding a QX100 that I bought used for a little over 3 years now. Finally broke down and bought a new Q 45.
I am looking for suggestions or, better yet, successful experience on mounting a Thor seat on a new Q 45. Would reall appreciate photos.
Thanks
Wow that is smart!Adding a few pics here. My bike shop came up with an ingenious solution for mounting the Thor seat while retaining adjustability. Yes, that is a seat post. It rides very well.
What a great idea! I have to say that wouldn’t have occurred to me in a million years.Adding a few pics here. My bike shop came up with an ingenious solution for mounting the Thor seat while retaining adjustability. Yes, that is a seat post. It rides very well.
Yes, Clermont Cyclery in Indianapolis did the work on this. I gave him several links from the forum. He tried a few of the ideas, but came up with this finally. Very thankful to have a LBS that works on and customizes Cruzbikes. What a great idea! I have to say that wouldn’t have occurred to me in a million years.
Rubber blocks. I believe they are readily available to size on amazon. What did Clermont use as a spacer to raise the brackets above the seat ribs?
