A few things here...
1. I might want to just put my bike in the back of my SUV (just for a quick trip, not too far). It's not a huge SUV though. Taking off the rear wheel is easy enough even though it isn't quick release. But getting that honking front into the back with the wheel on was barely doable and very awkward to say the least.
I tried taking the front wheel off too - boy was it a pain to get it back on when I got where I was going!
Anyone have thoughts, tips, etc. regarding this?
2. Possibly the answer is that I really need to use a bike rack instead - if so, any tips on the right kind of bike rack for either a small SUV or sedan?
3. Does anyone routinely take the front wheel on and off for transporting around town? Is there a trick to doing it without it being a giant PITA?
