    I think I want a V20....

Hi slim no it is not. 32mm tyres next. It is comfy enough to be noticeable. The pelso pad makes some difference. When I fit the ventisit summer pad it detracts from the ride quality but it’s new and stiff. Got about 1200 klm on Pelso Brevet so far. I will review it soon and compare it to my...

Magene Ridge $250 pedal Power meter

Should be good. Mtb is practical if you don’t mind smaller interface and extra weight. All but one of my bikes are run with shimano mtb pedals so when I get off I can walk around . Don’t beat me but hey I’ve got sandals too and yep the vendetta does not mind lol .

A Little Recumbent Love Over on Global Cycling Network

Hi rojo My point Relative Expense is in the eye of the beholder. ;) regarding expense I think expense is also all relative to which brand bike and your currency conversion rate . The bikes in this years tdf ranged from 5k to 16k American for complete bikes. That’s a big range and makes...

    Continental Grand Prix 5000 TL

This is the most mooving anecdote moose I’ve heard. I’d start a new cycling club called “the Nebraska nose breathers” or “the Kansas cowclappers. Sorry I do amuse myself easily.......

A Little Recumbent Love Over on Global Cycling Network

“Really pathetic “ huh That’s really unfriendly ed. Well done mate. I proffered an opinion based on experience. Lots of experience. IMHO means in my humble opinion. I found gcn tech show list of faults on a recumbent to be lacking some credibility. As did the majority of commentary. Which is...

A Little Recumbent Love Over on Global Cycling Network

Access isn’t the issue . What is it? Perception marketing ambivalence vested interests critical mass IMHO the usual suspects. Won’t be the last time demonstrably superior product goes the way of vested senseless discrimination. Horses for courses like you say. 7 kg v 11 kg. No contest for me...

A Little Recumbent Love Over on Global Cycling Network

Yes the first gcn recumbent show was a door opening. The second with the tech show was embarrassing for gcn presenters Ollie and Jon as they listed the disadvantages without any research or actual experience. And that cannot be defended nor justified. It was stupid. Sadly this weeks tech...

Question on bending neck rest tubes

Yes from pic headrest needs to out more. Seems counterintuitive and it’s a common error for initial set up to have headrest too far in. By letting it out your head will be more vertical and your shoulders flatter on seat. Lots on this on bike fit threads.

Neck rest tubes to Seat clamps 3D printed

Nice job. The bike would have originally come with round clamps for same purpose of clamping seat and not relying solely on Velcro. Both mine did.

    I was humbled today

No rear suspension hard tail ouch. I owned a 1996 flstn didn’t stop go or handle but sure had a great beautiful finish. Like Coca Cola more than the sum of its international parts. In the end I went back to Honda

    I was humbled today

Dear rojo lightweight lol. Yes mate go get a fat donut arse for sure. Or fill up water bladders at the top. Maybe design a sweat reclaimer to fill your lightweight void . Imagine carrying that extra 30 lbs. up the mountain though. Bradley wiggins knew what to do with a couple of tape worms up...

    I think I want a V20....

Lol my pedal strokes Ben are merely a very slight variation of yours and all are in great fun exuberance and the simple joy of cycling. :) I am in accord with your boss comments. Sadly cycle touring and commuting is secondary to speed and image. But that’s alright as it’s all cycling. The only...
