    Tubeless Tire Blow-out

Lol yes it does work for fast riders and this middlin rider me has supplied many a tube to a fellow audaxian. But after a while say it does become irksome acting as a proxy repair van when audax is all about self sufficiency ingenuity as well as cycling. The last time it happened I was in the...

    Tubeless Tire Blow-out

Hmm carrying a pump and spare tube plus patches etc despite ride quality advantage seems to me on balance when non racing its easier to stick with tubes. Of course tubeless is great and I run my fat bike that way and don’t carry a tube. 750 grams per tube plus impossible to fit by hand...

    The Cricket

We Aussies are an egalitarian mob. We don’t even draw breath when our indigenous sports stars do not sing the national anthem. We gave our women the vote before anyone else. Struth. We colonials know a good thing. How’s the weather. Lol.

Has anyone ever tried to combine Miche Primato cassette with other cassette?

Slim you might consider not carrying so much and lighten the load . Definitely don’t need the top end though. How do you ride below 5 klm / hr and keep stable.

Cheapish rear shock comparison. Kind air shock dual V DNM 22 coil

Reading Bens and Billy’s posts seems to confirm that the kind shock despite 40 mm travel seems to use only 2/3 of this on big hits and on standard hits only around 1/3 . As you can see from the photos of the kind shock o ring it’s travel on the 40 klm ride preceding it being replaced was only...

Cheapish rear shock comparison. Kind air shock dual V DNM 22 coil

Hi David Kind shock .24 kg DNM coil over .44kg and the DNM air I didn’t weigh but it’s between the two. Yes it’s performance is similar to a high end mtn bike rear shock set correctly. Most impressed that it uses 30 mm of travel and does not bottom out. I would ride off the gutter with this...

Cheapish rear shock comparison. Kind air shock dual V DNM 22 coil

Okay I purchased a DNM aoy36rc air shock two months ago and fitted to hurricane. It’s performance is great and I paid just over $100. It’s as responsive as the boat anchor heavy coil over DNM shock . Real suspension with a lockout and rebound adjust. the kind shock though slightly lighter than...

    Cruzbike mis-adventures

Generally you will need a spacer to operate 10 Spd on 11 Spd freehub. I’ve converted my 10 Spd power tap hub freewheels to 11 Spd by shaving material. Friend with a lathe. The spacer goes behind 10 Spd cassette .
