    Cycling is transport, isn't it?

I looked at both post and swing arm racks. Do all post racks have the same angle? All I eyeballed side by side at the store seemed to have the same angle. The one I actually put on my bike 1) touched the wheel when the shock was compressed by just sitting on the bike and 2) wasn't even level...

    Cycling is transport, isn't it?

John: I have a Freerider V2. Please share which specific 3rd party racks install without needing a metal shop? If I recall correctly the instruction manual suggested most mountain bike racks would work. That has not been my experience. I did a lot of shopping around for a rack that could...

    Fat Man on Hills

OK, gut check time. I love my new Freerider v2, put 25 miles on it my first big ride. Easly twice the distance I could ride my Diamondback without my hands going to sleep. I'm 46 and 300 pounds. I picked up my old Diamondback over a year ago and started riding it to work. Four miles each...

DECISIONS, DECISIONS, WHICH DONOR TO CHOOSE!!!!

No 2, yes you will be too big, you won't get arm room enough I think. No 1, top tube too high I reckon No 3, a few nice conversion on this out there. Buying good quality second hand parts in one go would be my vote, saves you a lot of messing around.

Hi Jack - My daughters are both living in L.A. this summer and will be "official" representatives of Cruzbike at the Rally on Saturday only. You'll remember Genna from Interbike '06. Lucia is working at the L.A. Times this summer. They are both competent on a Cruzbike, though Lucia just got...

    My Ultegra Triple equipped Silvio

Good report, Brian. FWIW, I Good report, Brian. FWIW, I agree 110% with what you say about a triple chainring setup. I love the 42 for most of the cruising I do. Kick it up to the big ring when really rolling, or on a fast downhill. I don't use the 30 much, but when I need it, I'm darned...
