    First Crash On the Vendetta

Scott ouch. Mate go back and do ratz s drills. Do figure eights till you have no more moments. You don’t have control fully yet. Do the drills. Yes and if your boom assembly is too far out that causes instability. You should be able to ride a white line. Move about on the seat ride one handed do...

To Prospective V20 owners: A Review from David Zinke

He also forgot comparative safety. Plus on the vendetta overall. Feet first low fall position. Perhaps visibility without a flag in traffic is a con.

Taking On The Hour Record - On A Penny Farthing?!

Seat suspension. Lol. Back then they were totally hard arse. And dead by 55 usually 28 lbs was just the weight of the wheels tyres and mudguards. That’s all you were left with after 100 klm. Oh and a sore bottom. ( I know lightweight bikes were available and used back then my next door...

storing and eating/drinkin for long rides (100+ miles) on Silvio or Vendetta

No comparison possible really. Froomey has everything. Resources science desire time youth and ability. Heck 600 watts for sixteen minutes at 100 klm mark at 68 kg body weight for an endurance athlete is salutary for even the most gifted of us. But is he having half as much fun as...

Salsa cow chipper bar I’m slim and brifter don’t angle so much with this bars minimal flare. . Velogical rim dynamo. Cut down air tube in headrest. Ventisit pad. Bacchetta brain box . Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

Yes reckon pedal extenders would exacerbate pedal steer. I guess paco must have broad hips and tall as a tree. No offence paco I’m pretty tall for my height too I’ve got a 2017 cf fat bike. Widest Q factor of any type mass produced bike. When standing it seemingly feels oddly wider with...

    Road bike vs. recumbent comparison

From my reading of forum it would seem that mbb is acclimated best on t 50 etc low B.B. and higher back angle. So likely that combination is easier to start on rather than jumping on most aero position vendetta for your body. I’ve only ridden a vendetta with large chain stays V2/v20 with V2...

    how to stop wobbling

Good luck with adjusting. Mark up your boom first for base settings .Remember try whole assembly first so pedals and handlebar move closer by 1 cm . Then if that fails try leg length independently etc. small adjustments.

    extremely steep hill climb

That’s pretty much the only beauty of a df. Lol. Totally agree on smooth climbing and cadence measure. Dam hard to love a saddle anymore though even one you’ve loved and fashioned to your unique bits. Selle smp lite in my case. Learn to love hills came the refrain. But I never quite managed...

    extremely steep hill climb

No a power meter nor a cadence sensor or gadget will ever actually get you up a hill. But will it help ? A resounding yes. know what you can do or can’t and have that displayed in front of you . you can then make informed decisions . Since power is not subjectively interpreted then it is the...

    Front wheel change is tough!

Yes I must do it. My mtn and fat bikes are home crockpot paraffin waxed. Been lazy with the roadies. But yes I’m sick of black grunge too and a clean gold chain looks so very pretty. Heck then there are the two trikes .......... lol. One day soon. Vendetta first.

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

Yes I used it on a df cf frame with alloy seatpost. It might work but under the band clamp the tolerance is tight. Think cigarette paper . The wet n dry would work as slim suggested right up till it rained. I guess I’m really interested in why it started to slip in the first place. Is the...

    how to stop wobbling

Move your whole boom assembly in 1 cm at a time. When you have it set mark it. Reckon you’re over reaching. Your skills seem fine. If u can put it on a white line and have no more woh Nellie moments you are good. The closer pedals will allow u greater low speed stability though any aero...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

Barry I looked at it but I’m not prepared to retire my current wheelsets. New alloy rims would be a fix probably but 25mm is okay for now.

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

That might scratch my baby. But you are right. If it moves again I’ll do that. I reckon the fines from under the clamp as it moved lubricated the clamp. What do you think slim.
