    Waiting is hard to do.

Eric I don't own an iPhone, but had an iPod Touch that looked like it went to heck and back...until I dropped it in the toilet. I iPods don't float. EVERYONE else puts their iPhone in a case.and they never get to enjoy the design and feel of its materials.

    Silvio 2.0 Photoshoot Gallery

Ivan Stylin' @Ian Smith: You are right about Ivan's wheels, but I imagine he'll ride by so fast that all you'll see is a blur. ANOTHER Silvio worth noting is the "all black Silvio"; one of my favorites. The stealth look would be even better with all carbon rims or disc brakes - no brake track...

    Waiting is hard to do.

Eric. I wish we were neighbors! I would happily restore the finsh on your chainstay. Painting and refinishing bikes is my hobby. Hopefully your Vendetta is back on the road soon or even replaced completely.

    Waiting is hard to do.

I feel your pain I'm not waiting for components or building a new Silvio, but I am thinking about a Vendetta in 2014 and I need a savings plan that won't deprive my wife and kids of the good life too. Remember to post pics as you go along; it seems that Ivan set the bar, but we're all...

    Silvio 2.0 Photoshoot Gallery

Amazing Work Ivan, I have to say that I think you have the best looking Silvio I have ever seen and your photos do this fine machine the justice it deserves. I can imagine that anyone considering the Silvio would be convinced to buy one based on how you have shown yours. You know, between...

    damaged my boom...help, doug!

good point With the specialized nature of these bikes, I don't mind being made into an example if it keeps others from damaging their Cruzbikes. :-)

    damaged my boom...help, doug!

thanks, doug I appreciate your knowledge and your in depth explanation. I do want to say that, like you describe, I used a pulsing motion to break the part free. I liken it to "bouncing" the cheater bar slightly in anticipation of that moment when the part breaks free. I certainly don't want to...

    damaged my boom...help, doug!

I was in the middle of overhauling my Silvio when disaster struck. In removing the sealed BB, it was siezed and wouldt budge. I used a Campagnolo BB tool with a wrench and cheater bar with a good soaking of PB Blaster on the BB. I heard a loud metallic crack and the BB began to unthread. I...

At last, the first ride on my Silvio 2.0

shock going flat Jeremy, I had a similar issue on my Silvio and I wasn't sure if it was user error or what, but one time I decided to pump it up to 200 psi and from then on, it hasn't gone flat on me. I did bleed the air once and an brought it back to 150 psi, where it remains quite constant...

At last, the first ride on my Silvio 2.0

no point blinding the ants... That' funny. Why not get a second Cateye tail lamp and balance the symmetry? Besides, two lights are better than one.

    Carrying a lock?

U lock considerations The position of the hole may make locking with a U lock difficult unless the shackle is long enough to fit through the frame and around the stationary object to which you want to secure your bike. I may be wrong about this, however. I don't lock up my Silvio simply for...
