    Not enough action here?

Good to know I'm not alone Nice job on the armrests, by the way. You almost look like you'd do well with bullhon bars by the set-up you have.

    Not enough action here?

Am I the only one who obsessively checks this forum looking for new postings? You'd think I had nothing better to do, but since I am not currently riding a Cruzbike, I need to find some way to get my daily cycling fix. I'm just saying, I am a self-described bike nut and I just can not get...

    Selling Silvio

Sorry to hear that Hey Mick, Sorry to hear that the Silvio is not the bike you are looking for, but as you know, there is no shortage of enthusiastic Cruzbike fans who will happily take yours off your hands. Especially since it is ready to roll with the addition of a set of wheels and a...

Gates Carbon Drive + Geared Hub

On second thought... Both require proprietary tools, but the Phil one is available to shops ONLY and is bound to be crazy-expensive. The Trickstuff BB tool is available to anyone and costs just 16.50 EUR. That said, unless my LBS had the Phil tool (which they likely won't) I'd skip the...

Philcentric Bottom Bracket How about a Phil Wood Philcentric BB instead? I didn't realize that the Forward Components ones were no longer available. It looks like Phil's version is still out there.

Gates Carbon Drive + Geared Hub

Forward Components Eccentric BB GeorgeC: Forward Components makes eccentric bottom bracket cups that are designed to allow for chain tension adjustment. These cups are useful when converting a road bike or MTB with vertical, non-adjustable dropouts into a single speed. This could potentially...

    Decals

That depends... Are they: Die-cut vinyl (solid substrate) Printed with UV laminate Waterslide-style or??? Will you offer custom colours? I am asking only because the type of decal affects the installation and clear-coat process. A lot of modern manufacturers...

What is the recommended approach to use 700c wheels with the VK/2 frame?

Pantour Hubs Doug, You're telling me you couldn't make your own version? We've ALL seen what magic you can work with that fancy tool in your picture.

    Frame bag for Silvio

Thanks for the advice It looks like you found a decent solution to increase carrying space without the use of a rear rack.

What is the recommended approach to use 700c wheels with the VK/2 frame?

I had a Pantour hub once I once owned a Dahon Speed Pro with a Pantour hub. While it doesn't have a ton of travel, it definitely takes the edge off of rough pavement.

What is the recommended approach to use 700c wheels with the VK/2 frame?

I can not wait to see the end I can not wait to see the end result. I'm sure you have seen plenty of Doug's posts; he has done some amazing things with the Cruzbike conversion kit.

What is the recommended approach to use 700c wheels with the VK/2 frame?

If I were using 700C wheels If I were using 700C wheels on the VK/2 frame, I would consider using Paul Motolite brakes on the rear and a Suntour Swingshock Fork. Yes, I realize the fork has a disc brake tab, but that could be easily remedied with a dremel, files and emory cloth.

New Sram XX1 (1 x 11 with 42 cassette) work on the Silvio??

I know...I currently have the I know...I currently have the previous generation Ultegra group, so even if I stick with what I have, I will still have the looping shift cables. Like you said, it's not as clean, but I can live with it. The Silvio looks sharp configured just about any way I've seen.

New Sram XX1 (1 x 11 with 42 cassette) work on the Silvio??

More Aesthetic than a Configuration Issue.. But I would love to build up a Silvio with these components. I think the black frame and white components would be an interesting juxtaposition, but if you could ever find a rare white Silvio, this would be an pretty sharp...
