    V20 Build - MBB newbie

Go to the hardware store and get the special velcro they make for Fabric. It's much thinner than standard and has a bitter grip. You can the use thin strip of that in strategic place to make the lid stop rattling. I replaced all the stock velcro with fabric velcro and neither of our lids rattle...

I broke my Perez Clamps and Cruzbike is out of stock...alternatives?

When you get the temp old ones be advised: You'll find once you get them in the frame and the screw installed, you have to Unscrew the bolts to almost the max and then push the screws all the way into the frame to get the the clamp to shape for clean inserting of the pipes. It's a PITA and there...

    Neck rest?seat angle issues

Hi Brad, Yeah a picture.... Ok so, thats too far forward by a lot. The neck rest is causing you to push your shoulders forward and up; and it's forcing your face skyward. It's also getting you head higher than necessary and into the air wash which will cost you speed. Not to mention feel out...

    easy testing of aerodynamic drag

Where this gets equally interesting; is get two or three riders on Similar bike configuration but optimized for them; Ride around the same track at the same time, but with enough gaps to matter. Feed the data into the program and compare. Why? Because it would be interesting to have Cda...

    The Cadence Conversations

Ok I'm going to open the winter keyboard racing season and encourage people to debate this topic and to keep it civil. Disagree, point, counter point. But be respectful of all points of view. The V20 encourage a big gear and a slow cadence; you have to actively work to spin. Anyone that's...

    Neck rest?seat angle issues

Should be said; those steps will dial it in for most people. If you are very short; then you need more adjustability and this is the best option with the stock seat: http://cruzbike.com/performance-adjustable-headrest it looks simple but it can be adjust in a ton of ways. Then "cut" to remove...

    Neck rest?seat angle issues

    1) Off the bike slide the headrest as far out as it can go. 2) Sit on bike and hold your head where you want it to be. 3) Have someone else slide the headrest in until it connects with your head / neck 4) Mark the head rest position with tape on the pipe where it goes into frame. 5) get off...

Clicking noise on my new V

Thread like this tend towards selection-bias. For the most part you shouldn't have clicks and creaks. Basing that on the 16 frames that have passed through my garage; and the 8 we had on RAAM; if there's a "clicking" sound there's a solution. Just depends on your level of tolerance and...

Clicking noise on my new V

Things to check. 1) Is the crank arm just barely hitting the FD cage 2) Crack and reinstall any master links, which would account for click and a chain that sticks in 1 spot per revolution. A master link that is katty whompus is easy enough to do on accident 3) Check you spokes front and rear...

Designshine is gone so this is the best http://store.dinottelighting.com/daytime-red-taillight---daytime-only-taillight--seat-post-seat-stay-chain-stay-or-rack-mount-p188.aspx But they are migrating to internal batteries...

I sense a disturbance in the 3rd Law

I looked at it but felt the tailight was too dim to be effective in daylight. the radar seem like a fancy mirror that gives less info. For a roadie that won't use mirrors I can see it as useful.

    V20 Build - MBB newbie

The product page use to have a footnote telling you to indicate "large chainstay" in the order notes; I don't see that there any longer. I would email sales@cruzbike.com and ask what the status is on the optional chainstay lengths.

Farther, Faster, Fitter, Fun - (4F - The unofficial Cruzbike training team and support group)

It's fall, and due to the on going commitment and support of Cruzbike. This Training Program is back; and we have a couple new plans. Last year RAAM consumed the team "just a little bit" no such time commitment this year; at this time I plan for the program to run through the "A-event" summer...
