We all used ColorPlast which is basically Plastic Cardboard. For me I just got a "blank" yard sign from the local hardware store; the kind you use to hand write a yard sale sign. That's the cheapest way in the U.S. to by small quantities of the stuff. It's also super easy to spray paint any...
Intersting. Not sure about the garmins; but the P1's and their Application have a heat map that shows the definite power zone. For me it rotates back about 30 degree, and it becomes more even and a greater part of the radius. Aka there a less pronounce recover/dead zone. Since both have Cycing...
Posting here; for a couple days, then off to BROL and EBAY.
We are going to be testing the Wahoo Bolt's all season and with the addition of the new power meters we have some ideal tech that really should find a new how rather than collect dust. These Garmin 1000's are in pristine condition...
In this order.:
Spider, spacer, spacer, wave washer, bb cup, bb shell, bb cup, nondrive crank arm.
The metal 1mm spacers are optional. Add them as needed to remove left right movement in the crank when it is torqued Down.
At 6.1 with what looks like a very even split between you torso length and leg length, the bike would call for a 150mm chain stay which makes it roughly equivalent to a S30/V20 with the large chain stay. That is going to pivot you to a slightly more comfortable weight distribution on the seat...
You only say that until you shift a praxis ring; and it's 4 seconds while you are waiting for the chain to move and realize you blinked and missed it because it's so quick. :)
Ok Fly6 and Taillight mounting solved.
For the fly6 I need Qty 3, 3D printed parts from shapeways, not expensive, but not cheap. Good solution and it's solid and protects the expensive light. Not sure what will happen in a real non accident crash hopefully that remains a mystery.
Legacy...
Now though you know not to spend on them next; so you did learn something useful. You can always sell at half price to someone that wants to try them; put some beautiful Praxis round rings on and have money left for pizza :)
Ok I don't usually wade into this pool; but tonight I'll put a toe in (and only do a small wall of words) because this study found exactly what it was looking for, (don't they all)... :emoji_alien:
First to all the people that are confused about the Q-rings:. There is no free power...
In theory if you make the boom 86cm long and set the BB center 79.5cm from the front of the carbon seat pan; you should be able jump on the bike and have it fit with only small adjusts to your liking. That's the theory we are testing.
It means your BB is closer than the formula predicts
which...
If you want to come back from Mars; yep; if you are staying for a lifetime probably not.
My 6 year old daughter declared last month she want to be the first woman of her generation to walk on Mars.
Two days later she modified it to say she wanted to be the first woman to walk on Mars and come...
Yes indeed cross platform is only needed in the case of N=1 or a sample group under say 5; without that you have to compare 1 rider across platform. Whoever if you get gather mass data on say 15+ riders the more the better........then.
And that would be why the 4F project exists it generates...
Ok this is a good start but I think it's incomplete to compare for the target.
We need a few extra variables that I can outline.
I know Larry has all the pieces to do this test, and Jim has most of them.
I'm going to take a swing at this topic, the science minded can correct my errors but I...
Thought about that too. The Cateye H34 probably needed to get to stay put further up the pipe. Probably going to pick up more road debris on the lenses but the light is tough and and probably handle it.
When the H34 get's here I'll do the other bike higher up. and compare.
2nd round Prototypes on the way to me and a few select heavy sweaters... (working direct with Ventisit)
Should be compatible with and without the tail-box on the bike and inside the Cruzbike "Sock" or without it.
I have two SRAM GX long cage 10 speeds unused. Got them to prove that the GX line is not 11 speed compatible even with the correct shifter pull rates. Yes that is true, it doesn't work the derailleur does not have enough left right travel. 10 speed is the last fully compatible MTB and Road Tech...
