Sold: Quest v2 559/451 for Sale

Shipping in the US is usually less than $150 with insurance using ship bikes.com which is what I do. The Vendetta just went out today and it was $117 going to Indiana. I need to order the box tonight, for the Quest and get it folded and packaged the I can give more exact estimates, no clue on...

Chain WAXing (yes it's that easy) - and other mysteries of this art!

Hmmm, that might pose a problem. A Lot of wax pile up below the axe on our stationary trainers. That might be a problem for rollers you might get lumpy wax deposits; or they might become slippery... Proceed with caution the first couple of times, or put a mattress on the far wall.

Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

This is the cursed project. Ordered more RIM tape to test the Hutchinson's when they get here. (Think I have gone through 3 rolls and the stuff isn't cheap) and today the order arrives and low and behold apparently Schwalbe rim tape looks a lot like the Park Tool PP-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Piston...

Bottom bracket clamp bolts come loose

Indeed in some cases that's true. After my 3rd BottomBracket I went to the $200 XD-15 which I haven't had to think about since; expensive peace of mind; but well worth it.

Chain WAXing (yes it's that easy) - and other mysteries of this art!

Go here: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/derailer-adjustment.html Scroll down to chain length. Use that method to figure out how long the chain should be it always works. It will be very rare for you to be to get by with just 1 chain if that chain is the stock 116, the needed length is usually 121...

Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

Hutchinson Fusion 5 Tubeless Galactik Road Tire, 23mm and 25mm ordered. At ⅔ the price of a PRO One and at 0.9 watts less cdr perhaps they will work on the Flo wheel and the should answer the question of whether the Schwable is the problem or the wheel is the problem.

Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

Rider weight is a huge factor, when Pluckyblond and I get to ride together it is very obvious.

Bottom bracket clamp bolts come loose

Elliot for the miles you are putting in, you might want to invest in an rwc bb; the cups it stronger and will last longer: http://enduroforkseals.com/id180.html the $99 one without the ceramics should be perfect for your all weather riding.

Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

Nope we get that. Not recommend for bombing down hill when you go in and out of tree cover into cross winds. We have similar problems around here with the ever present jet-stream 15 mph wind speed deltas from gusts isn't uncommon here; so when you head out in a 8 mph wind you might run into...

that's what I got from it too; and IIRC that was Jim's theory too; he's not opposed to dual disc on the correct course for that reason.

For Sale: Almost new Ventisit Classic pad for V20 or S30. $75.00, includes shipping.

The Quest Pad is a closer fit to the 1.0 if I recall correctly. But the thin one is really nice on the Vendetta on race day so you can't really loose if it doesn't fit the Silvio.

How Many Watts Are Needed To Break The Current 24HR World Record?

This is normal for the P1's we see the same thing on both bike versus Kickr versus QXL rings. Some things to consider. You have an older kickr; it transmits a 5 sec average power not realtime power. The powertap p1's if you are using them in Trainer Road function as a Left Only right now; in...

Ok good to know; must be limited to the 90mm. I believe @trplay is using the Aluminum ones with carbon fairing without a problem.
