Heads up; Flo Wheels are back in stock

Update and a rather disappointing one the the tubeless crowd and the new FLO90 all carbon wheels. I had picked up the flo 90's two sets specifically for low wind events. I set them up as Tubeless using Schwable Pro Ones 25c rear 23c front. The setup was a complete failure. The Flo 90 is a...

    Riding the hoods

Straight arms to give a somewhat continuous surface for air to re-attach to after your fist and brifter punch a hole into it. Basically better Aero than bent arms. The goal would be to have a power bicep position in the drops and a straight arm position on the hoods. One is for climbing and...

    Kervelo Tilting Trike

Think GO-Kart. Down hill at 60mph and you can nap if you have faith in your rear tire. It's the uphill at 2 mph that gets to you.

Anybody using a disc brake on the front wheel of new V20?

Yep and it's neat how that section of the population's size is self regulating.

    Recumbent Cycle Con 2016

Here' the one salient point I got from riding it attached to the v20. Within 10 seconds of pedaling it I forgot it was there; and the v20 was sized way too big for me but I didn't feel like moving the boom

Power vs HR and what power meter

Don't know if you tried the 6degree of float cleats but they help. As for crank meters hold tight it won't be too much longer before you will be able to use 30mm cranks which triples the number of meters you can select not to mention shorter factory cranks. It won't be tomorrow and I can't...

    Kervelo Tilting Trike

I rode it as well in trike mode; He's put a lot of work into it. When you tilt it feels like it should tilt more and then it starts to hold you up. If it shipped now it would be for a causal sedate rider. Not the rocket boys doing power slides on their tadpole trikes. He was definitely taking...

    Recumbent Cycle Con 2016

There were a few the proved to be able to just jump on the bikes and ride, but they tended to come early or late and were pretty easy to spot.

Anybody using a disc brake on the front wheel of new V20?

We general like our community members to be around for awhile. The reason for a rear brake are: 1) If you are riding on a Slippery surface; it's wise to use the rear brake only. 2) Approaching sharp bumps; use the the rear brake to cut speed. (Front brake + sharp force to front wheel can taco...

    Recumbent Cycle Con 2016

ETA is unknown to me; but those photos are of a "sample" which in manufacturing comes after "prototypes" and is used to make final tweaks before any production can start. Since it just arrived Maria was awesome enough to let the public see what the dealers got to see At this time here are your...

    Wahoo KICKR trainer

Only issue after hundreds of hours is keeping an eye on the headset stack. That does needing retightening every 2-3 months. As long as you monitor it and inspect the bike before training all is good.
