    FYI: Forums Organization Pending.

Yeah I think the intent there was to have a forum dedicated to "Stock" CB cruz-bike questions; and then one for the Crazies and moders. Admittedly people wander and moderating thread drift is a loosing battle between the two forums on any day, best done on only the obvious ones. I'll run that...

    FYI: Forums Organization Pending.

Heads up crew; sometime this week when I have enough time to carefully do the work the forums will be Re-organized. The new structure will be as follows below. This is your heads up so you don't get shocks and so that if anything goes sides way you can alert us right away. I don't have an...

    Q-ring/front derailleur issue

Sorry I was thinking about the Q version 1's in the garage; those have FD hardware. Yep the QX100 brought FD it back to save weight and cost. Still think the QX100 is a steal because of all the things you can do with it. The Homemade Quickr in our Garage proves to me home much more nimble that...

    Trainer

Some details here: http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2013/09/silent-trainer-output.html Most of the best stuff seems to be in the comments with seem to point out the problems, Private-Ant+, undocumented fluid resistance properties limiting the apps that can support it correctly. But it does looks like...

    Trainer

Most of use want a full on Erg trainer, and historically the quiet ones were really expensive. Haven't seen a review of the ETM in a while; did they finally get all the little kinks ironed out like building in a speed sensor?

    Q-ring/front derailleur issue

It doesn't have a low enough reach at the extreme angles, and at his X-seam that boom must be almost horizontal. Same thing happens on a Q20/Q26 if you put a front derailleur on it; in the shortest settings you get this same problem. Steve H (@scabinetguy) has made a derailleur stalk addon...

    Q-ring/front derailleur issue

Ok so that's a Front Derailleur Capacity of 16 See calculator. The Yaw's have a max capacity of 16. So if you couldn't get it to work even with an angle shim you either did have a bent stem -or- you have a Large Chain stay and you are shorter than the frame was designed for. That would mean a...

What did you discovered about your Cruzbike today

Ah so something like double sided 40 grit sandpaper between the cleat and the shoe is more the type of resistance you need; got it.

    Q-ring/front derailleur issue

Curious was it the front or rear bridge that rubbed. It almost sounds like you have more teeth delta than the capacity of the derailleur. Bend the stem would solve that. What size are you front rings and what is the big and little size of your cassette. I would like to do the math and see if...

White or red loctite might be in order on the bolts. They are only meant to take 4nm of torque and I suspect there in lies the cause of the struggle. The glue was a great idea. Hopefully it doesn't soften when it gets hot in the sun.

What did you discovered about your Cruzbike today

Sounds like you'd be a good candidate for SpeedPlay Zero; those have a float range adjustment both in and out. No way you'd rotate them on the show. They are quiet workable on the V20, just keep them greased for easy clipin and clipout. Only problem the are rather expensive anyplace other than...

Nice list; but save yourself the hassle on the the mount for the Fly12. Get this one and put it on the nose of the the bike. I've already sized it with the Fly12 on my bent and it's a great fit. http://axiaalloys.com/Misc-Accessories/Gopro-Camera-Mount-Satin-Clear-Black Pictures this weekend...

    Converting QX100 to NuvinciN360

I forgot to mention; I was also using steel cogs and rings to improve chain retention and power transfer. Once you nail your gearing Surly steel cogs are the bomb on the N360; always run the biggest rear cog that you can to improve efficiency; a 20t or 22t is best if they fit. In the end I...

    Headache from riding V

That is the best description of where it is suppose to be. Never thought of comparing it to the position you hold your head without the head rest. That's the position that allow you to look through sunglass at the handlebar clamp and not look under the glasses. well done. and that sounds...
