    What drove your decision process?

Sivetta Yes the Silvetta is a nice ride and would suit a lot of riders on this forum. Seems a natural option to offer, no modifications needed, 30 degree seat angle, makes a great climber.

Clip Hey Bob, try using a simple clip like this one, can be plastic or wood even. Works for me.

    Vendetta rack bag

Stress I don't plan on carrying water bottles in this bag however it seems to be more than strong enough. I used a little thicker wall tubing and I've tried to break a prototype. I would worry more about stress on the headrest tube. The bag and rack add about a pound to the bike. It certainly...

    Vendetta rack bag

I finally found a good arrangement for a bag on the Vendetta and Silvio. It's a Sunlite 1 rack bag. About 5" wide x 7" tall x 12" long. Keeps the aero in tact. Plenty of room for tubes, jackets and gloves etc. It amazes me that bag manufacturers don't include dimensions in their online specs.

    Ultegra 6800 11 speed (Di2) build question

6800 shims Online metals.com....... Just order a small section of 1 3/4"x 1 5/8" aluminum tubing and cut the shims the width you want. I have a lot of miles on mine so far, no problems.

How I spent my Summer Vacation (an ongoing vendetta saga)

Bottle mount Eric, I think the photo makes it look a lot larger than it really is, I painted this one black, helps the perspective.

    Another V20 Build Adventure

Shims These are cut from aluminum tubing (onlinemetals.com). Nothing mysterious, 1 3/4" outside x 1 5/8" inside. The old BBs are 1 3/4" diameter, the 6800s are 1 5/8". I don't have any experience with the press-on type. I have a feeling that the threaded type would be best for clamping...

    Another V20 Build Adventure

6800 Hal, you may need a set of these for the BB clamps. The 6800 cups are smaller in diameter than the previous versions.

    Amateur aerodynamics

Dialed in I think I have it dialed in now, change in shape and fastening method. Rick, you really don't notice the foil when riding the bike from a visual standpoint. Don't know about the rain. It feels as if your riding with the wind all the time because you don't have the wind blasting your...

    Amateur aerodynamics

In my face No air on my face, however, I feel a little air around my ears and at the top of my helmet. I'm going to change the shape to be wider at the top (about an 1 1/2") and narrower at the base (1/2"). Also, I think I'll make the base out of 1/2"polycarbonate and decrease the radius...

    Amateur aerodynamics

Got tired I got tired of the wind in my face and after hearing Bob complain about how un-aerodynamic his face is, I decided to try this on my Vendetta. After a short trial I found that it does eliminate a lot of air around my face and ears. When I look at myself on the bike it's obvious that...

Di2 install Bob, nice install, good to see you were able to use the rubber hole grommets. I'm curious to see how it works with the Q-rings and by the way, when will your divorce be final? ...Steve
