Your V2 fork should work fine. Mine did. All you need is the boom assembly and the correct length chainstay. Contact CB directly to ask if they have such spares available. I've attached a pic.

I recently sold a complete S40, and was able to fit it into a medium bike box with proper padding. It was a tight fit, which is actually a good thing, and it took me a while to puzzle it all out, but it did work. Then I shipped it through shipbikes.com.

It is a great bike, but given the choice between it and the Vendetta, the V just pulls you in and says, "let's go!" Resistance is futile.

I started waxing my chains about three months ago. I spend a little more time now on chain maintenance than I used to, but I spend much less time trying to keep the rest of the bike clean. So far, so good.
