Yep--it is looking like it is not an easy task. I can ride my other bikes in the rain--may leave the S40 to nice weather only.

It is getting to be that time of year here in Alaska--snow is melting and everything is wet (well, and frozen). Ideally I would like fenders that are easy to attach, stable while in place, and easy to remove--if you have recommendations and photos of installed fenders, please post.

You can leave a regular tire on with the stac zero. It uses a magnetic field around the rim so there is no contact--very slick

I am using the Tacx Neo--it is compatible with 135mm hubs, so no issue other than having to unbolt the brake caliper. Not sure what model your TT is, but you should be able to get a longer skewer.

Good to know, as I to just have the tubes, no padding--although I find I am plenty comfy without the headrest.

I have been loving Zwift this winter. Normally I fat bike in the winter, but too much ice, not enough snow caused me to join. Using the Tacx Neo. Now I just wish you could choose a recumbent as your ride--maybe the folks at Cruzbike could set up a bike/kit option?
