    Please vet my Silvio Build

Maybe the new Schwalbe Durano Plus rather than the Schwalbe Marathon Plus? In the Durano Plus, the SmartGuard belt is not as thick as that in the Marathon Plus. So I guess that should improve the rolling resistance issue? There must be a trade-off in puncture resistance though. I...

    Stop and go riding

Jon B has also fitted a Rohloff hub gear to his Cruzbike. I'm sure that helps a lot in stop/start traffic.

    Silvio Fenders

I seem to remember that John Tolhurst advises folks to use the Planet Bike SpeedEZ Road fenders/mudguards. JT? :) They're available in black or silver. Sadly they are not "full coverage" and I guess that you would have to cable tie them on to prevent them flying off. They are similar to SKS...

    Greater Boston Area

I'm nowhere near Boston, Massachusetts and no longer own a Cruzbike, so cannot help you with a test ride. What I am curious about, is your comment that you already know how to ride a MBB bike. What was the MBB bike that you rode? Obviously it wasn't a Cruzbike. :)

    Softrider Hand Brake

For those of us that do not read German. Here is a hyperlink to the kickstand on the English language part of the web site. ;) It is a nice stand Jon. I might buy one for my folding bike. :)

    Cruzbike-a cure for midlife crisis?

Sorry. Not Bob :( John Rather than relying on glue maybe you should look into using the rubber edge trim with a metal insert that grips the seat edge. :) Gromit

    from fool to cool

Weird indeed but can you persuade them to fix it? ;) Maybe they would allow you to load copies of the reviews onto the Cruzbike website? :)

They've obviously had word of your beard removal and retaliated.

Beard Trimmer!!! I thought that you were growing a "wizard" beard John, so that the guys over at BROL would take you seriously. ;)

    deraileur mounting question please

Bob I reckon that you "found" it, still in the rear dropout of your bike? ;) :)

    Cycling is transport, isn't it?

Sylvain I think that it does. You're in Montreal, Canada, aren't you? Maybe someone from Cruzbike could confirm whether it applies to Canada? :)

    Cycling is transport, isn't it?

Sylvain Maybe there is a way! ;) :) If you buy a Sofrider or Freerider off the Cruzbike web site then they offer a buyback scheme if you really don't get on with your new machine.

    Cycling is transport, isn't it?

Sylvain You'll need to edit the nesting of the quotes in your post. ;) John Tolhurst wrote the bit about back packs. It should look like this!

Any numb feet issues on a Softrider?

Albert You seem to be implying that having one's feet higher than one's butt/backside causes numb feet on a recumbent. Surely this is far too simple an explanation? Maybe someone with a better understanding of human anatomy than I, would care to comment? Doctor Jim perhaps? ;) :) I...

John I wonder if you may be thinking of the Old Man Mountain Red Rocks rack. :?: :) Better picture of it fitted to v-brake brake studs/bosses Installation Instructions

Sylvain I can understand your frustration. I guess that [URL='http://www.hpvelotechnik.com/images/produkte/ghp/HP_GrassHopperFx_tour_ErgoMeshSitz_rechts.jpg class="bb-url">this sort of rack system[/URL] is what you are after.
