    S30 Review on BROL

the roads of Montreal rattle my bones baov, have you already compared the ridequality Silvio vs. DF? Even with 700c23 tires, the Silvio rides much smoother than a DF because of the weight distribution.

    Silvio frame collecting water

Corrosion Super Slim, Unless you get salty water into the frame, I don't think there will be a corrosion problem, because the frame is in aluminum. PS: even in a salty environment it requires presence of an electrolyte like copper or so to cause corrosion.

    Vendetta 1.5 fenders (mudguards)

FENDERS FOR SILVIO OR VENDETTA I mounted CRUD road racer plastic fenders on my Silvio 2. They are good for 700x23 tires, for a larger tire they might be too tight...

    Bullhorn and Dropbar Options

Bullhorns on the ride on the videos I posted under ''Ride Reports, My first experiences'' post 7, you can see that I'm still satisfied with my bullhorn arrangement. Modified DEDA Crononero LOW RIDER.

    My first experiences

Bike path ''Parcour des Anses'' some small video cuts from yesterday's ride on Quebec's most beautiful bike path called ''Parcour des Anses''. Sorry for the sometimes shacking and inclined view. I'm still trying to find a better camera mounting position. http://youtu.be/VDAu80uM7iA...

    Silvio v.2 - Body Filler?

BODY FILLER OVER WELDS Aluminum is not the easiest material to weld, specially if the two part have different material thicknesses. A regular ripply weld might be of very good quality. Body filler is often used to hide an imperfect weldment.

    Lessons from my recent stupidity

BOOM CLAMP Jeremy, I don't think the notch on the boom clamp hole is of great importance, it's probably there to simplify assembly. The boom clamp is made of aluminum and the bolt is probably in stainless steel, so if the bolt/notch is not properly aligned it will result in what you show in...

    Transition from Silvio to Vendetta

UP STAND Bob, no it wont work on the front wheel. Try to hold your bike only on the front wheel axle and you will see what happens

    Transition from Silvio to Vendetta

Up Stand me too, I have it on my Silvio. I wish it were a little sturdier, specially the small connector tube. Also you have to be careful to stabilize the frontend of the bike.

    Bullhorn and Dropbar Options

DEDA LOWRIDER WITH BRIFTERS Bob, I couldn't ride as much as planned, but I'm very happy with my set-up as shown in this thread (post #114). I road 500 miles and I do not plan to change the current set-up for this season. While reading the different posts related to the chainstay extension...

Mounting a Bent-Up Bag '' I did have a 2010 Catrike Expedition but didn't like not being able to keep up with my DF friends.'' Sounds really familiar to me. Here some pics of my mounting bracket:

    Need 100mm Silvio Chainstay Extension

100mm chain stay extension Larry and Rick, I see that you where looking to migrate to a Vendetta. But I hope you will modify your Silvio with the chain stay extension before. I have an extension on hand, but are no sure if I want to install it right now. I would really appreciate to get...

    Some build questions

Titanium Hardware I would never recommend titanium hardware. Titanium on titanium will seize before you have tightened your assembly correctly. To prevent seizing the treads have to be roll-formed and silver coated.

    rear suspension adjustment

PU spring orientation Super Slim, When I was assembling my Silvio 2, I tried to get the larger part of the PU spring into the treaded hole in the frame, it was nearly impossible. There was already a discussion ongoing in July 2013 (http://cruzbike.com/silvio-2.0-build-questions) posts 26+...

    rear suspension adjustment

rear suspension setting here is the setting I have on my Silvio. I feel comfy with this. Compared to the harsh ride of non-suspended 700x23 tires, it smoothens the ride on rough road surface, that is all I was looking for.

    rear suspension adjustment

I would like to know if there is a recommended value for the rear suspension adjustment. Taking in consideration the weight of the rider, how far should the PU spring stick out of the frame?
