    2009 Greetings

Racing sells. "Race on Sunday; sell on Monday." ...That's how -and why- sponsorship works with racing. In context, therefore, racing the Silvio makes good business sense. -Steve

    2009 Greetings

'2009'? -Just an arbitrary point in the orbit of our small planet, in a minor system in a plain-vanilla galaxy in.. .. the 'middle' of the limitless universe. Sorry. I admit it: I'm a nerd. ;) Happy New Year! -Steve

    Tax Credit for Bicyclists

Yeah on the waste question. That one always shut my dad up. Dad, the electrical engineer on-site at both military and civilian nuclear (NOT 'nuculer'!) power plants. Then there's this other little problem: people make machines. People make mistakes. Machines, made by people, make mistakes. For...

    Aero Disc Covers

I agree. This pretty well describes my experience with my Sofrider V1.2 on windy days, with the rear wheel faired. I feel more secure with the rear wheel cover on than I do with it off. -Steve

I'm thinking that I'd rather be speeding on my bike than talking about my bike! Yes, I was pressed for time... riding is so fun that I take...

    Not-a-'Mark B.'-Report

It was unseasonably warm the day before yesterday. So, naturally, I went riding. Wow. These old muscles of mine really work better when the air is warm: it was almost 60 degrees F. Just like Summer time, but not nearly as sweaty. ----- On the home stretch, a car slowed to match my speed. The...
