First rides on my V - well happy.

Tririg omega x brake. I have it too and it's brilliant. It uses magnets to hold the front facia plate on. http://www.cruzbike.com/forum/threads/little-tweaks.11324/ It's so good that I haven't gone with hydraulic disc brakes yet.

    Helmet (Brain Bucket Options)

Giro Vanquish claims speed increases without ventilation sacrifice http://flip.it/ZKFdAM Looks good. Might ditch the Giro Attack Air. It's supposed to be 7% better aerodynamics. However the selling pitch to me is it's ventilation. The Giro Vanquish is on sale from December (unless you are a...

    Steering damper/stabilizer

I noticed a considerable difference when going fast with my wheels being balanced. I haven't had the wobble since my wheels were balanced.

    Wanna go on my bike?

I would demo my bike but let someone ride It? Heck that would have to be difficult not biting my bottom lip when seeing that bike wobble.

Helmet for Casual, Everyday Riding: Yes or No?

Why not look like Robocop when you wizz past all those roadies? I haven't found a better helmet that deflects all the wasps and hornets. Fancy getting one of those in your helmet at 60kph? It does save the watts too.

T50 - whatcha planning to build.....

I am walking the Camino de Santiago and this summer there seems to be more bikes than ever but I haven't seen a recumbent. A nice short wheel base, such as the t50 would be great but I don't think it takes the 700c wheels, which is a shame as I have two challenge 33mm cx tires that I could put...

    Neophyte Knee Pain Fix?

The zox will be slow when you get shortened cranks. With your cleats positioned back with the right adjustment the pain in the knees will be no more. I have sensitive knees. And all the above posts will help for sure. The shorter cranks will make you more aero and the less of the necessity to go...

    Another Vendetta newbie

I will join you in that. I decided to take a week off cycling as I am off to walk the camino de Santiago... I have issues with my left shoulder. Too much on the aerobars. So now I have a ruck sack. I am thinking of taking it easier but since training for the walk I have the dreaded ache on the...

    LEL 2017

Emmmm ... being keto on an endurance ride on a cruzbike might have been different. Getting to Edinburgh is way better than anything I've done. Well done.

T50 - whatcha planning to build.....

I quite like Hardy's creation. Might go for swept up bars or use my old aluminum bull horns. Go for a smaller rear wheel to give it the T30 effect with disc brakes. Being all black it should look despectfully fast.

T50 - whatcha planning to build.....

Well I finally took delivery of my T50 today. My wonder brother brought it over from Florida. Not sure if I am going to use twist grips or something else. I have lots of cranks , brifters and levers available. Just got to wait for the Lucifer weather system to evaporate and perhaps I can get a...

    LEL 2017

So what happened? Was the weather crap, would you do it again and what motivated you doing it in the first place? Was it worth planning for or was it worth planning to carry a light load? What were the high points and low points of each day? Were there many spectators clapping you along?

Help Needed for Century & 6-Hour record attempt

Is there a chain retention device as there is an odd issue with my setup. On my carbon set of wheels with qxl ring on setting no 5, not a problem. But if I use my aluminium wheelset with QXL ring setting number 4 the chain bounces out when cadence is high when shifting. Very irritating and why I...
