I tried a little something to the engine today. It was very good. I saw it on Le Tour and thought I would have to try it.
They work! You get a pack of three different sizes. The middle ones are great for me so now I don't have to swallow flies.
First hand experience... they even work on the Vendetta 2.4 so now the Vendetta has a black boom and chrome forks.
I cut my old slider too short so when the new cranks were fitted and the slider adjusted there was dangerously very little slider in the boom,
I am very grateful for...
I guess it's probably easier if you have a front disc brake and sit up hard against the handlebars just when engaging the front brake.
Some how, I don't think I will be practicing that one.
I have a yellow Vendetta 2 that's a little sup'ed up. I usually get "wow , can I take a photo of the bike".
I once had to stop at a bridge crossing when the bridge was up. As I was overtaking everyone as there wasn't any oncoming traffic, a moped rider asked me about the bike. He was very...
If you made the vendetta more aero you would probably be 6mph faster than the softrider. Biggest change you can do is cut down the headrest, change the BB and cut down the cranks. The biggest unforseen fight is not against the bike but the engine. Aero is for all and drag is the enemy here.
Too straight and you get tendonitis in the forearms. Not good. If you aren't doing hills you will probably get away with it. But straight arms with hills... it will take it's toll.
The irony of this statement was the opposite for me. I backed the T50 KS campaign and then heard the news about the new S40. I thought to myself. I should just have got the S40.
However... I will probably end up buying both. The idea is to rent out the bikes and give lessons in them. So the...
Gosh... you are catching up with Larry. I guess you don't call it a quiver of bikes? There aught to be a collective name for a set of bikes with such quality.
It's a big chunk at the back of my head and shoulders. Think of all that yaw drag and the lack of ventilation. I reckon Greg's new seat would be great in a 40c summer.
I swapped out the standard headrest for a blow up inner tube. The idea of something that can dampen the road noise and reduce...
3:43 ... that's eye watering... yep that will be a record for sure. What are you going to smash it by ... 20 seconds perhaps:rolleyes: I guess you might be limited by wind speed. Chicago is the windy city so perhaps best you have that early time even if it seems inconvenient.
Wishing you the...
Haaaa: that takes months. Maybe weeks if you really learn to relax. It's the biggest fiddle as you really don't know what works for you. I remember setting up the configuration without a helmet and then wearing a helmet on the road it felt totally different:mad:.
For the novice: Try adjusting...
What's the widest tire you can put on? I just bought some 33mm challenge tires that have tread on the sides. I bought them as I need to make my hybrid bike a bit more comfortable. That might help.
