    Sebring from my seat

Yep ... Very pleased to meet you too. I enjoyed your write up. So many new experiences too that we shared. I felt so much better after the 11 mile ride on Friday. The nerves and worries seem to disappear.

The Road to Sebring, Around Sebring and Back again - Part 1

Interesting, Pro One 23c up front, Reduction in drag , did Tanya ride this configuration as well? I couldn't believe how bumpy the road was up at Frostproof, I thought marshaling was poor. I would have preferred to have seen cautionary signs on the roads like the one on airport road that says...

I am kind of curious, what tire did you finally ride with?

I would have to second that. When I got level with her it was as though she increased her pace. Well fast! You did a good job there for sure.

I used live tracking from my wahoo elemnt. The companion app on the iPhone picks up the updated current Lat long from the Elemnt and that gets sent back to the wahoo server. All you have to do is supply an email address, say to my brother, and he receives a www url link to the wahoo server that...

Diet: Low Carb and Ultra Cycling

I much appreciated the reply. I always chose Cruzbike as an alternative. It's a thinking persons mode of transport and with its forum ... It's invaluable due mainly to its members who share and care for others. So this is a big thank you!:D

    Little tweaks

Well had the race. I finished in quite a good time considering I took the wrong turn three times, my chain fell off and I had to wait for a train to pass thru a level crossing. A lot of the return trip from frostproof was isolatery. So I definitely could contest third place by shaving twenty...

Diet: Low Carb and Ultra Cycling

Ok... Yesterday I cycled Sebring century with around 50 fl oz of water mixed with three scoops of an amino acid compound called PMD BCAA that was bought from GNC - water melon flavor - pretty good. Last 20 miles my left glute and foot started to cramp up so perhaps it might have been wise to put...

Gosh I can't believe I came forth. That was one heck of an experience. Thank you for all those that were on the road side giving me a cheer ... From the bottom of my heart I can't tell you how rewarding that was. Gracias to Cruzbike and everyone; really enjoyed the experience. Highlights...

I decided to run with the s-works turbo cotton and latex. Nothing quite like it. It beat Jason so it might work here.

Yesterday's run was the best so far. I got everything ok on the new wahoo element. That's super cool device that saves my iPhone battery. I slowed down at the end due to the many stop signs (The power figures probably don't mean much as I use the power cal heart rate strap - you shouldn't...

What I did to prepare for Sebring 2017 ---today

I've done a few more things to the bike and now happy with what I have. A retractable id fob that can go around the camelbak pipe. I took the heart rate monitor strap to a Taylor's and removed the buckle. After 80km it was annoying me. And I saw Larry had covered underneath the Vendetta...
