    questions about power meters?

I'll keep you posted. I did get a warning but the engineering company I used said it looks good. I used 172mm sram rival cranks. If it was for a DF then I certainly wouldn't use it. But for a recumbent on the flats - mainly ... I won't be going more than 300 watts. Engineering is a science of...

    New Bike Blues

Gosh... now where did I put that plastic bag with the old dirty triple crank? Guess that might find itself on a T50 LOL (But clean though)

    questions about power meters?

Watteam powerbeat looks very interesting to me. It looks ideal as it's not based on the pedals, if the bike goes down with a pedal scrape the power meter is out of the way. Sure I know it probably won't give 100%readings but it sure would be better than the powercal chest strap that I have and...

    Deep Rims

I have a valve leak. Really annoying. I am using the Schwalbe valve with extender on a 80mm deep rim. I can't see any punctures but after 5 hours it deflates to 40psi and then doesn't go down further. I am thinking of tightening the valve really tightly failing that I will take it off and use...

    Little tweaks

Well ... to Bolt or not is the question. My ideas are still with the curved slider and am thinking of moving the wahoo elemnt 90 degrees and as I have the side LEDs I just use these as the main point of of interests. I still will have LED notification on direction changes but reading the...

GPS unit or iPhone with an app such as Map my Ride

Buying an external battery for your phone might be cheaper and give you the greater flexibility

    Little tweaks

I took a couple of Personal Bests on Stava segments today and took a look at the KOM. How on earth can anyone on a Cruzbike produce on average 600 watts? It's impossible , right ???? Is there a fudge factor one can apply to the equivalent Vendetta wattage to a DF. It was on level...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

If you go over the handlebars, you have to land like an aeroplane. I put it down to all the race swimming I did in my teens. Off the starting blocks. The only trouble I had was +#%¥*{* sore ribs for 3 months. So I speed on the V but on anything else 45 kph is enough

    A high speed run

Rememberance of the Legendary Mike Hall

Sure he was a DF rider. I saw him in the Trans am film. He is epic... I can't believe his number is up. He was an inspirational member of the cyclist elite who was always pushing the barriers. RIP He passed over doing the thing he most loved at the age of 35. He was in 2nd place on the 13th day...

I didn't, but I am ok. I will go with the Rotor 53t QXL 110 BCD. It looks awesome ... Gosh... this summer will be a new ride completely [into the light]

    Little tweaks

I am getting a setup for a couple of real big tweaks. Currently what's been happening. Planning. And now for the execution which isn't for the immediate. So what's up? One of my biggest headaches is I have been itching to use shorter cranks. After forking out some bucks for shimano Ultegra...

    2017 Race and Event Season

That's 46.671 kph average! Are you sure about that? Did they have to be carried away on a stretcher?

    Little tweaks

Well perhaps I should use those aero bars ASAP. I had another good day today. It was a struggle to upload the data from the elemnt to strava. The only way I found was to email myself the fit file and then manually feed it into strava on the PC. Sebring this year was a pivotal point. At the...

What did you do to your Cruzbike today?

So has anyone got their mits on the axle extensions that reduce the seat down to 18degrees? Otherwise no one is going to beat Jim :D Heck, I reckon Jason could make some go down to 17 degrees even!

T50 - Everyone likes a bike you can kick start

It would be great just to put a single 11 speed gear set on one of these and allow greater flexibility with the boom to customize any rider in seconds instead of minutes.

Ride video : My weekend outing.

Good idea with the two mirrors. I hope you have some good flashing lights. Surprised that the roads aren't so busy. You drive on the other side of the road like the uk, so I am curious if you have the rear brake on the left hand side? Nice video... What sort of angle do you have with your seat?
