    KOM Series in the bag

Congrats, Jason! Even though the competition was thinned out a bit, there's no telling if the outcome would have been any different. You could have still won the series. It's all history now and you worked extremely hard in what was a very difficult series of races. You deserve all the accolades.

    My new V20 rideable

Post pics when you get everything perfectly dialed. I'm curious to see a POC seat on a V20. They look very comfortable.

    Vendetta Progression

Another option to get the silver a la yellow V's would be polishing the boom or slider instead of using powder coat, but that's probably megabucks. The contrast would look wild on the new dark frames.

    Vendetta Progression

From my understanding, the V2 was yellow only, and the red model was the first V20. The recent dark grey Vendetta is referred to as the V20 "core edition" unless that was only for development and the nomenclature changed after market release.

White Mountain Double Century and Final Race for the CA Triple Crown Stage Race

Some of the UCi-illegal triathlon speced bikes had frames with sections greater than 3:1 before these radical new generation bikes went on the market, they just looked much more conventional than the Andean or P5X. Recent models from Specialized and Felt are good examples. The new extreme...

    Treading carefully

Looks like it was a terrible day for a race. Good decision.

    Treading carefully

David, where are you located? Curious how you can receive enmity by simply participating in a race if you follow all the rules and don't offend anyone. What kind of racing is it? If you want to race then race! As long as no one gets hurt it's all in good fun. Best of luck and definitely a ride...

    2016 HPRA FLORIDA CHALLENGE

A late congrats to you, Larry, you're a relentless warrior on the Vendetta!

Look what I found under my tree for Christmas....

The problem with the CHR is as you say fitment for those who aren't giants. Even my inseam of slightly greater than 33" is apparently barely over the minimum recommended by M5, which is crazy, although people with inseams inches smaller have successfully ridden one with necessary modifications...

    Winter picture for Ratz

Give it a couple more weeks and the river will thaw if the temperatures don't drop dramatically. It was completely ice-free around my area in Christmas when I had my last ride of the year.

Look what I found under my tree for Christmas....

I knew the Vendetta would come out at or very near the top! Considering it's a bike that you can buy from a manufacturer like any other DF racing bike pretty much off the shelf, that speaks VOLUMES about Cruzbike's winning philosophy on bike design. If you don't mind sharing a teaser of your...

Look what I found under my tree for Christmas....

Interesting you chose the Arrowhead out of all the other bikes to bring along with your Vendetta. Personal preference for this bike design or easier transport?

    Bikeism Sucks

The UCI is so restrictive it has even banned countless innovations to the DF over the years. There's no logical reasoning with this kind of policy making, and by now it is so ingrained, it's a systemic problem in the sport as we head further into the 21st Century. The only possible change that...

    v20 and v2

I'm probably confusing V1 for V2 then. There were two differently curved booms at some point. I'm sure of this because I've seen pics of both large and medium bikes together and they weren't curved the same above the BB. In any case, every time I measure my X-seam it doesn't come out the same...

    v20 and v2

I guess someone will need to confirm but if you look at medium frame V2 pictures, the curvature is less pronounced. Maybe this was only on the pre-V2 frames. I will need to look at some pictures again. I thought there were two different booms in the past, as to which had what and when I'm a...

    v20 and v2

The V2 and older large frames had more curvature in the boom than either the old medium frames or the V20 frames. There's so much curvature that most bikes I've seen in pics had risers on the steerer tubes, sometimes multiple risers. I don't know the reason for the different booms in past frame...

    v20 and v2

That's the first large core edition V20 I've seen. Really nice bike and makes me still wonder if I should get the large or medium frame. Kind of stuck between the two sizes. Would I be wrong if I thought that learning on a medium would be easier with the lower BB?

He'd really be interested if he knew more about the speed considering he was riding what is or was considered a fast DF.

    Off topic: mechanical doping

Well, those Victorian Age fossils just better get used to it because recumbents are going to be more and more represented in races that permit them. Cruzbike is in the lead in this fight.

Looking for LARGE chainstay for Vendetta V20

Didn't you know he's the 6 million dollar man!?! :) The bars can probably be raised a bit by using a riser on the fork steerer if they drop to low. Ben Tomblin raced with a large chainstay and downward sloping boom. There are pictures on this site of him. Which begs the question, Larry, is this...
