I think the fork mounts are 51mm international standard:

Mine looks like Traditional. The packing slip says post mount. No brackets came with it. I think adapters are extra.

Hmm. Does that mean that the TRP brakes are incompatible Sofrider? Or is there another TRP brake that will fit?

I ordered the TRP Spyre brake. But the mounting holes on the fork are 90 deg from what the brake accepts. Is there a standard adapter to accommodate the 90 deg? -Cliff

It's a good point. If we're climbing a grade so steep that wheel slippage is an issue, we should be thinking about issues with descending that grade, too.

Are you saying that recumbents lean more because they corner faster? I'm pretty sure that DFs and recumbents of equal weight going around a curve at the same speed lean at the same angle. -Cliff

Bob, yes the fork has disc brake mounts. Are all mounts the same size/spacing? Thanks for the advice. I sent Benny a note this evening.

I want to get a drive wheel for our Sofrider that will take a disc brake. Any recommendations? Also would appreciate recommendation for disc and brake. What is on the QX100? -Cliff

No, I used two that were already there.

I don't see the combo that Ratz shows on their website. Did I miss it, or is it no longer available?

I put a zip tie there instead of the clamps. The glue of the velcro has partially failed. The zip tie helps keeps the seat aligned and from slapping against the frame when I go over bumps at speed. BTW, the glue is always the issue with velcro, not the hooks and loops. -Cliff

Added white bar tape to my S30. Covered the silver bar clamps with black nail polish as suggested by rat. Going to keep the barlets on there permanently. -Cliff
