I ride with a loud whistle around my neck. If I see a charging pooch, the whistle has a shrill sound which, so far, has diverted a pooch. The noise startles the dog which gives you time to peddle away.

He has the newer type of cover which lets you add the cage mount accessory. I used a Velcro strap around the headrest with extra padding to fill the gap. I ultimately switched to a different headrest.

I bought my Q559 direct from Cruzbike. The purchase was easy and everything came without damage. I bought my Sofrider from Craigslist with no issues. I purchased my S30 from eBay. Buying used from pics is a bit of a gamble but it has worked out for me.

I'll second the Ace Hardware comment. The one in Port Charlotte, Fl has the necessary hardware when HD or Lowes did not. . Also, that is a nice case of bolts etc from Amazon. No need to leave to run get Hardware.
