Back in march 2014 I've got 4 of them. But you dont need them, the velcros are strong enough. This year I installed a Thor seat with an Adem headrest, and I'm still able to lift the bike by the seat (only held with the velcros). Maybe one day I'm going to add a ty-rap.

That's exacly what I'm used too. But I will try it with the front wheel no the single roller just to see how it feels.

Kneedrachen, I remember having had some contacts with you on a trike forum. I did the ''plunge'' 3 years ago. I'm really happy with my Silvio 2.1. Start with the stock equipment. Once you are up and safely riding you can think about some tweaks and upgrades. Have a close look at ''ratz's''...

it won't work on the front wheel. It has to be mounted on the rear. Try to hold your CB on the front skewer only and you will see what happens.

If you have a smart phone, put STRAVA on it, so you get all these info. And join the Cruzbike Club.

an intermediate solution would be to pressfit a bushing across. Without a bushing, the axle that goes through the aluminum frame has to fit as tight as possible into the hole to reduce the wearing out of the hole. And no screw threads where it touches the aluminum hole.

I have the same problem. It takes me a lot of concntration to ride my Silvio 2 on a straight line below 8mph without sitting up. But sitting up over a 1 km long steep climb takes too much effort. On my last ride I encountered a (for me) serious climb over 1 km with a 14% incline. In the middle...
