So sorry - I forgot to say that I paid to have it done - and have no idea the kind of paint or primer. Sorry. :(

Anyone Paint their Carbon Fiber Front Triangle?

Yes, I repainted an entire V20C to match the original Vendetta color scheme - even had original decals made and applied. Top bike - My original Vedetta Middle V20C repainted Bottom - Stock V20C (Yellow/gold) note on my repainting: Aluminum frame is powder coated, and CF parts painted. The...

    Riding a Cruzbike.

Yes - that is how manypeople conter act the pedal steer when the first start riding- after you get about 100 miles in your legs, they will actually take over the entire thing for you if you let them. Many people can eventually ride no hands. I am not sure when you live, but I have taught...

    V20c head posture

Hi Marlo, Technically that is correct. Speaking strickly numbers: If the seat is at 20 degress and you want your eyes to be looking strainght ahead - then you have to bend your neck about 70 degrees. There are some tricks to minimize that. Get a seat that kind of curls up the last 12" (like a...

I thought recumbent bikes were slower than regular bikes ...

There are quite a few very aero riders now on upright bikes that are just as aero (on their fully decked out TT bike) on the same watts as a stock V20C - so the difference is fading. It still is not comfortable though as a Cruzbike - :)

Combining a Recumbent and Diamond Frame Bike for a Single Ride

Last year on my 65 birthay I rode over 500 miles on my Crizbike in a 24-hr period - self-supproted. https://www.strava.com/activities/12890259474 I can't image wanting to ride on an uprignt for even 10 minutes. Too painful and slower to boot! It's me and my Cruzbike until I can't push the pedals. :)

    Los Angeles bike shop/new rider

You will have a better conversation with anyone at a LBS if you take your S40 there - then they can see they would just be dealing with standard bike components and probably will not have any issues. If you try and have the conversation over the phone - they will instinctively stop listening as...

Question: 2021 S40 adding a Thor Seat...How did you attach the seat at the top?

That is what I am waiting for - but in the meantime, I have made my own - it is not as nice, but it fits me and the V20 perfectly! Then I built a box to connect to the back of the seat. I cut flaps in the top so I can open and close while riding and get my bottles.

    Q45 in Tennessee

Your height and leg length might cause the BB to be lower than optimal - but you should be able to get a longer one from Cruzbike. I would double check the tires and make sure are good before you ride it. If they are old they might have dry-rot. Good Luck.

    New Cruzbike rider issues

IMHO - I cannot see how that will keep you from sliding. It just seems to add cushion to your rear. What I have done is add a lumbar hump on the inclined part of the seat. This definitely helps me from sliding since the curve of my back locks into the lumbar area. The other thing that occurs to...
