This is really an excellent way to build a cheaper alternative to an S40. Just 700c wheelset, then add nice flared road drop bars, position the seat at between 35 and 40 degrees and voila ! The wheelbase is a little short (109cm T50 vs 114cm S40) but you can get used to it. A more rigid ribbed...

Lets post any nice techniques and ideas on how to stabilise your bike when parked or when walking it and stop the front end from flopping. I came across this one on youtube that uses a bungee cord, looks like a nice simple solution.

I think you can buy third party Narrow-Wide chainring 46T or 48T, even 50T e.t.c for 1x systems. You can also go for a 10-42 cassette or a third party (Sunrace e.t.c.) 11-46 cassette. In theory it should work but I have not tried it. Here are example chainring models...

I agree to a large extent with @RojoRacing here. Unless off course, the recumbent position is really extreme and the grade really steep +15% (or steeper) which would then put the rider in a disoriented position, the weight and stiffness on the drive train is what matters. Hypothetically...

Your hands look lower than or at shoulder level. That looks good to me. But it might not feel good to you. Our bodies are notorious at detecting small changes. Always give your self a few rides over a couple of weeks to adapt and get used to a new position before you make any further/major...

Very nice dtseng, I wish I could afford a frame like yours:) 9.8Kg Ti bike! must be very responsive and compliant! The S30v2 had a rear Ti leaf suspension. A really unique frame.

The last iteration of the S30 or S30v2 only had rear suspension. That is still very effective compared to a purely rigid frame like the V20 I should think. Yes the difference in speed between the S30v2 and the V20 must be very small. In my opinion it was the ideal general purpose FWD road...
