    Seat angle?

The detail Vendetta Progression of versions is given here: https://cruzbike.com/forum/threads/vendetta-progression.11603/ I think the difference in seat angle is a few degrees. V20 has a 20 deg seat angle while your 2nd Gen Vendetta looks like it was in the mid 20's specifically either 23...

They even have a MBB cruzbike DIY copy! The rider in this video even adjusts the seat angle as he goes lol!

Comparing Vendetta & DF power outputs

Good point. Yes, changing positions on the bent is the one major limitation. However, I find that I can achieve minor changes by sliding deeper and forward on the seat allowing me to "drop" my heel or sitting up a little every once in a while. That said it's still not the same as getting out of...

Comparing Vendetta & DF power outputs

Interesting comparison between DF and Carbon MBB up a 0.9Km road section of 9% grade by Marco Ruga. To ensure equal weight between the two bikes he carried some water in a "camel back" bladder on the DF. https://biciclettereclinate.blogspot.co.ke/2017/10/il-test-dei-test.html#more

    S40- Wow!

I saw a solution to this problem on another thread by @Crane Fly. I quote him here:

For those who understand italian, he explains it here:

    Carbon Fiber Fun

I think he is quite a tall guy and probably didn't want to extend the chainstay length from the donor bike.

    Carbon Fiber Fun

Another 9.6Kg (21 lbs )Carbon MBB using a BMC frame by Marco Ruga! Seat recline angle looks like the mid 30s. Probably 35deg. Blog (In Italian, may need google translate) https://biciclettereclinate.blogspot.co.ke/2017/10/rev-bmc.html

    S40 Build with Road Triple

Looking good! Is the chainstay length standard or the longer one? The BB height looks nice and high! Are those 36 spoke wheels with 28mm or 32mm tires? How did it climb?

    Vendetta with fork from S40

Do you have access to different wheel sizes? You can test by putting a larger wheel infront (700x28c) and smaller one behind say (700x23c or 650B)and see how that feels. Just thinking ....

    Vendetta with fork from S40

My guess is that the S40 fork is taller because it supports bigger tires. Hence, I suspect, it will tilt the V20 backwards slightly making the headtube angle slack probably from 73 or 74 deg to about 70 or 71 degrees. At the same time, it will recline the seat angle further probably to 18...

Newbie... Differences in Freerider vs. S30/40?

I don't own an S30/40 but what I know is that they are significantly lighter in weight(nearly by half) than the old freerider. They are also more reclined, with fixed seat angles. The weight distribution should be a little more balanced for the S30/40 than the Freerider albeit still a little...

    S40 Build with Road Triple

Thank you for taking the time to take the photo. 29 pounds with bags and tools is good. So I guess the plain bike is about 12Kg(26 pounds) or less. Wow, it does look much narrower than the flared ones! It must therefore improve the aerodynamics at a slight lose of leverage.

Ol'Yellow get a New Facelift after 11.6K Miles

 Maybe it's my eyes, my memory, or is it the photo? Isn't it golden yellow? Somehow this shade of yellow looks a little different from the original yellow Vendetta s version 1 and 1.5 ... Anyway it's very nice looking and well taken care of considering it was an early V ver-2.0 ?
