Great to see it all put together. Very nice! It looks like the existing seat brace could be shortened up for a greater lean-back , but it would chop off the rack mount eyelets. I'm sure someone will do just that, or make entirely new seat struts soon.

I actually got my Craigslist Sofrider the day before they started. So I learned to ride it in those few days. I'm riding in full-on traffic now, and practicing no-hands.

In fact, I would prefer the steering tube be twice as tall. I would much prefer to use it directly instead of the extension tube. The pivot clamp needs a larger diameter to clamp to, but could easily be shimmed. Starting to think about upgrading from my recent Sofrider purchase. ;)

Don't they use this one now? http://problemsolversbike.com/products/headset/adjustable_spacer_-_6547 This kind of part in unfamiliar for many people, as it is not that commonly used. It goes right under the great big clamp. You set the bottom part with the set screw (don't be an animal on it)...

I was curious about that. How tall is the steering tube before you cut it? Was it as tall as the extension tube?

Got the spring free and working! Paying a lot of attention to the higher end bikes, it was quite apparent that the seat is further back on the bike than the "utilitarian" bikes. So I did some modding and moved the seat a couple inches further back on the frame. Makes it be very upright, but also...

Is the spring inside the head tube?

So I got reasonably good at riding the Sofrider today that I got yesterday. Already being a rider of a slightly twitchy highracer probably helped. After an hour I could do figure eights and accelerate to 25 MPH fairly easily. I think I'm hooked! :) It has the super long bolt to set the bearing...

I was pleased that I could immediately ride it after some initial seat/bars/front triangle adjustment. Even starting out in my rutted, dirt alley. Yay. :) The front shock is stiff to the point of locked out. Rides fine that way, but am curious if there is a way to maintain it for proper...

Well, I sprang for it. Got an even better deal, and now have a great place to start and learn. :) It's in pretty good shape.

Is that a new clamping design? It looks like the clamping rings are in-board of the bearing cups.

Is a anyone planning an IGH with a belt-drive?

Vendetta-ish wheelbase and fatter tires means great suspension without the complexity.

Maybe it's expanding the line, and not replacing it. Just tweaking the V frame design a bit for a new purpose.

I am glad to see a less laid-back triangulated un-suspended frame. Helving welded triangulation in the frame makes locking-up much more secure. They can un-bolt everything, but they can't steal the frame! :)

I think this bike will appeal to me even more than the t50! I prefer the S and V aesthetics.
