A nice reminder that you just can't talk watts, you really need to be talking W/Kg. i.e. There are lots of really big guys that would not have any trouble pushing 400+ watts for an hour. I'll be a bunch of NFL types could do it. Problem is, there weight is really hi, like 140 Kgs. :) - instead...

Cruzbike Summer 2019 TT Challenge week #13 results Pretty average week with 16 riders! Stats: 16 riders participated this week with 6 of them setting PBs Congrats to Katnis who took this week's top honors with an 85 second decrease in her PB from 39:31 down to 38:08 - for her 2nd ride in this...

Congrats Doby - what a find! - You and "barefoot biker" need to meet up. He was also a professional water skier for a time! - aka "barefoot....biker"

I saw that GCN show when they talked about recumbents - they mostly have no knowledge about them. Difference between a TT bike a regular road bike. I am no expert, but this is what I understand - and it is probably sooo much more. But basically: Regular Road bike: regular drop handlebars. Seat...

If so, this is certainly a rare bird. I have never seen the large aluminum boom bent like that. Hopefully Robert will chime in and give us the "real story"

Great job Neal and it will be great to see you at the retreat! Remember this TT Challenge is not about being the "fastest" (others have faster bikes and have been racing for awhile - so it is not level playing field just based on time) - This challenge is about progress from when you have...

Sorry Neal - I had it in here since yesterday, but I guess I did not hit "post reply" hard enough!

Nice way to store. I have high ceilings (11') in my garage, so I put them up there. I will have to say though, it takes a few minutes to get one down or put up. Plus, as you see, I do not use this side of the garage for a car since I cannot get the garage door up now! :) Usually setup for...

I think this is a V1 as well (see welded frame under seat), but Robert or Jim or Maria or Ratz may have to confirm. This definitely pre-dates my involvement in Cruzbike by years. Yes, the boom also looks like it has a bend in it, unless an optical illusion. Hard to tell with the glare off the...

There is always room "for just one more!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Wow Dave - glad you are OK. I had a scary experience this week myself, but nothing like your accident. I was nearing my turn around point and noticed a big truck gaining on me. I usually do a two-lane turnaround and use the entire road. I was really scared sso I slowed down way too much. kept...

Always lots of extra bikes to ride, at least one of every type available - Jim and Maria bring a load of them- plus everyone is willing to share

Sorry Neal- Each ride for whatever week needs to be complete between Monday and Sunday of that week. Week #12 = 9-2 thru 9-8

Cruzbike Summer 2019 TT Challenge week #12 results The hurricane in eastern NC prevented Thursday night TT group from doing their ride. Only 2 of them did there ride on Sunday so we had a low turnout this week. Stats: 12 riders participated this week with 5 of them setting PBs Congrats to David...

Absolutely Amazing Tor - Such beautiful footage and arrangement! Still the love the original Vendetta with the welded aluminum boom - Nothing else like it!:):):):):) You are one extraordinary person - and what a great international face for Cruzbike! Loved the way you are always smiling - also...

Cruzbike Summer 2019 TT Challenge week #11 results Another great week everyone! Stats: 27 riders participated this week with 8 of them setting PBs Brant from Alvin's "thursday night time trial" group took this week's top honors with an 87 second decrease in his PB from 36:35 to 35:08 What a...

Updated Week #10 results. Note: These results have been updated since David Zinke requested to use his 2nd week time as his 1st week time. This was due to him riding a 30 year old upright bike on the first week (since his Vendetta was in the shop) - He road his Vendetta the second week resulting...

If you can have about a 4w/kg 1 hour power you should be able to ride 27 (for miles and miles) on a Vendetta and you could hang with them and even give them grief.
