I just hope I can keep the darn thing up-right!

So many people have asked so many questions about how bents and Cruzbikes is general compare to the best uprights, I wanted to do some specialized testing around that. So, no I am not defecting to the dark side - I guess I am just board late in the summer - but I just have to know the numbers...

No wonder you are feeling better Ken! I just don't know how you could have had that key fob and key under your scab for all that time and not feel it! You must be tough.

"keto boaderline"? ??????? what is that???

Great write up Ken, and welcome to the Larry Crash/Sliding Club. So glad you are OK. Maybe next year we can do it together! :)

I started back on full Keto diet 7 days ago as I crept back into some bad eating habits over the summer and also gained some weight. I am training very hard for a 1 HR TT in a couple of months, so most of my training sessions now are ridden at FTP for nearly an hour about every other day. I...

I concur - not a good idea to convert non-tubeless wheels to tubeless. It is just not worth the risk. True tubeless wheel sets are coming down in price too, so easier to purchase. p.s If you are not doing it to pick up speed increase, you can have a similar level of protection by putting sealant...

This guy it pretty cool, but he confirms (at least in my little brain) - that I will continue to wear a helmet!

Found this on their (Oklahoma) Website: NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES QUALIFYING RULES 1. All finishers placing first through fourth and all non-ambulatory participants at the 2018 Oklahoma Senior Games shall qualify for the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 2. Recumbent and...

Thanks for the clarification Jeffrey. I totally forgot no marshaling after Century is over.

They let the 12 & 24 hour racers off at 7am, and then let the Century racers out at 7:30. Yes - Last year there was a detour that caused 2 left turns onto 32. They were both marshalled. This year they will probably be back to the original route, but I am sure they will still marshall the left...

Suz - I think you forgot to read the fine print when you bought your Cruzbike and joined this forum: It say: you are not allowed to sell your "a" Cruzbike unless you have another one in the garage or on-order.:oops::rolleyes:

It is basically a woven plastic mesh type of product. It is a little rough on your skin, so if you scoot up and down in your seat a lot you can feel it and it will eventually wear a hole in your shorts. I have noticed on rides where I had to stop and start a lot - and do more seat scooting, I...

Great videos. It is really hard to tell. I would not say you wobble "horribly", as there is a little swap back and for with everyone I think. Ratz told me I wobble back and forth a lot. I told him I did it on purpose so no one could draft me! It almost looks to me like the weight of...

Hi Karl, I'm not as seasoned a rider as Lief - only been riding for 4 years - but I probably have about 60K miles riding a Vendetta. I even ride with an 11" wide handle bar. I did wobble a lot a first however. When I switched to shorted cranks (140-145mm) and learned to spin faster (90-95rpm)...

I am unsure of the brand. My wife found them for me on a recumbent "site". I think they were about $30 a piece. I have 2 pair and they have lasted 2 years now. I think they are getting a little thin in the back, as the Ventist "is" a little rough. :)

Very cool Doug! Yes, hoping Jim & I can tear it up and get a sub-4 hour again. Might be harder for me this year, as I am only training for 1 HR TT's so these Century's are harder then they have been in the past when I would ride one each weekend. What a catch - Maria as a partner for 24-hour...

Ed, I apologize, I did forget to mention that I do not ride with any padding in my shorts. It has been my observation that all it does it soak up and hold moisture. If you still can't keep moisture from your tush, then I have also found that smearing diaper rash ointment on the "area" will also...

Ed, The Ventist seat pad is all you need, and do not wear cotton shorts that can trap the moisture. All the moisture just drips through the Ventist pad and offf the edge of the seat. Best thing since slices bread! Good Luck

Thanks Hall - I got you email. I will try and call you this afternoon
