Thanks! I think most of the stoplights probably only change when cars come up to them from the cross-roads. One reason I started riding at 6am was to minimize traffic. No sprinting for this old man. I can ride at 250-300 watts for pretty long, but I just can't seem to push much above 800 even...

I have not posted on this thread in a while, so I thought I would. I am training for a 1HR TT later this summer, so this morning I rode 2 x 25Km TT's on the open road to see where I was fitness-wise. This was after an entire week of recovery. Here is the Strava link...

I kind of doubt it, but would not rule it out. I am only training for 1 hour TT this year, so the only thing I would be good for would be the 1 lap, but I bet I would be able to crush it! Kind of a long way to go (and a bunch of $ to spend) for a 26 mile sprint. We will see - Maybe Cruzbike will...

Shows how different we all are. On the short hills that you say you loose to DF's I seem to excel. I can bomb down them so fast that I can almost carry full speed (or at least 20mph back up them). Obviously it depends on how short and steep they are. Anything over 6% that are longer than say 1/4...

Sorry for you crash - I have had a few due to front flats. As far as your 50-tooth suffering some damage - This is a good excuse to get a 52 or 53 tooth now. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Might as well make it a Q-ring too!

I really just like the way the chain ring bounces up and down as I pedal. I gets me hypnotized and I am sure it makes me faster just watching it go up and down! :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::oops:

Sorry you are unable to ride it where you live. The only place I would think would be the North Pole. And even then I think I would stick in on the trainer. :rolleyes: This is a fantastic price! It will not last long.
