Charles posted a beauty on BROL! I would love to see pics of folder comversions and videos. Would love to see it go in a suitcase. Then if someone is willing to build and sell one to me great!

I travel a lot, and always take my guitar. I want my bent with me too!!

Nanda,

i have yet to see the Quest folded into a suitcase! It's described on the website as a semi folder, perhaps more for getting into the trunk of a car.

I just watched a youtube of the quest being folded...a bit heavy on the disassembly.

For the trunk, my folder is way easier. For the suitcase, I'm not at all convinced my bike will be easier to fold...

The current version of the Quest is less fiddly and actually pretty quick compared to John's v1 videos, which is what I assume you were watching.

When I took the Quest down to Sebring I took off the rear wheel, undid the QR on the shock, undid the two thumb screws for the seatback and seattube QR and pulled the tube out with the seat back still attached. I folded the frame but left front wheel, bottom seat pan, and handlebars in place and set everything in the back 1/2 of my Chevy Equinox. This is with the larger seatback folded down to accommodate leaving the handlebars and stem still assembled.

Not anywhere near as compact as it could go but this process only takes about 10 minutes (after practicing a bit). Probably more like 20 minutes to disassemble further to squish it up more.

Eric,

I imagine the quick releases make a huge difference. I really think Cruzbike should get another video up, asi think with a little work, it could indeed be put in a suitcase quicker using as many quick releases as they can.
