Where did you obtain your sheet carbon. Wanting to play w something similar
Amazon.com is the easiest but not always cheapest. You can cut 1/2 mm with good scissors but it is better to use a cutoff wheel for thicker sizes because carbon is very abrasive and will eat up a steel saw blade. I have not tried to cut with carbide tipped saw blade because the blade is new and I was worried it would wear the tips or chip them. I use Titanium Nitride coated drills and they work slowly but do not seem to dull. Also use a well fitted mask as the cutting dust is very fine and best kept out of lungs.
