I have a newer style (inside the BB cups) 19.5 quick release Chainstay, a front Derailleur Stalk (non-pully version), and the Chainstay clamps that hold it all together.

Used for a couple hundred miles indoors and then removed in order to reduce the price selling my V20. $305 retail value. $250 shipped OBO

Joe, I'm interested. I'd love to hear from others about what length changes you have made for your chainstay, and how one length performs compared to others. I'm 6'2", Xseam 44", and just bought a 2018 Q45 Gen 1. In addition to changing my leg position, I think I can fit wider tires or even larger wheels if I get a longer chainstay.

I have not modified my chainstay, but I think you’ll find that the tire size limiter will be the fork crown so tire size will not be increased beyond the stock chainstay.

Thanks for the reply, but on my Q45, a 60-559 tire hits the chainstay, but a 55-559 tire works, with 4mm side clearance to the chainstay, and 6mm side clearance to the fork. If I remove the chainstay, I can fit a 60-584 (wider and bigger) Schwalbe Big One EVO LINE SNAKESKIN ONESTAR, albeit only with 2.5mm side clearance to the fork. A 55-584 tire might be a safer fit, but I do not have one mounted on a 27.5 rear wheel to test.
