As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don't have real-time information, and I cannot provide specific recommendations for bike shops or products. However, I can offer some general advice on finding a bike shop and choosing a kickstand.

1. **Local Bike Shops (LBS):** Visit your local bike shops in Chicago. They often have knowledgeable staff who can assist you with bike setups and recommend suitable accessories.

2. **Online Forums and Communities:** Join online cycling forums or local community groups where cyclists discuss their experiences and recommendations. Websites like Reddit (e.g., r/bicycling) often have members who can share their expertise.

3. **Manufacturer's Website:** Check the official website of the Vendetta V20C or contact the manufacturer for recommendations on setup and compatible accessories.

4. **Google Search:** Perform a local search on Google for bike shops in Chicago. Look for reviews and ratings to find reputable shops with good customer feedback.

Regarding kickstands, here are some general tips:

1. **Double-Leg Kickstand:** Consider a double-leg kickstand for better stability, especially if you plan to carry heavy loads or use panniers.

2. **Adjustable Length:** Choose a kickstand with adjustable length to ensure it fits your bike properly. This feature allows you to customize the height for your specific bike frame.

3. **Material:** Look for kickstands made from durable materials like aluminum or steel. Ensure it's strong enough to support the weight of your bike.

4. **Brand Recommendations:** Some popular kickstand brands include Greenfield, BV, Pletscher, and Ursus. Read reviews to see which one suits your needs and preferences.

Before purchasing any accessories, it's essential to verify compatibility with your specific bike model. If you're unsure, consult with the bike shop staff or the manufacturer for guidance. Additionally, it's possible that new models or products have been released since my last update, so checking recent reviews and forums is always a good idea.

Is it just me or does the post from jamesmary88 seem cut and pasted from a diamond frame website? For the name brand recommendations... just because they work on a specific diamond frame bike, does not mean they work on a Cruzbike. Need to show specific example and probably a photo of the implementation on a Cruzbike.
